Been ages since I watched a video from end to end absolutely glued to the screen. As a person with ADHD I get bored easily and skip or forward the video allmost every video or abandon it altogether. Thank you for the clearest explanation I have found. Would you help me with another problem? I have tried several AI image generators on the web but none allow me to request a specific image size before creating the image. So, to meet the printable area required for a product I am forced to resize the image, eighter removes part of the image or if I crop/stretch I loose pixels. I understand the only way to solve this is with an API? Thanks

Hi New to Canva & have relied on your videos to learn. You explain how to's very easy to understand. Why can't I use the same theory on a 1 layer png image? Like you did with the sunset text. I made the graphic white it was black. I put a background behind it. I never got the copy to clipboard under the share sheet. I do get the error WE CAN'T DETECT THE BACKGROUND IN THAT IMAGE, PLEASE TRY ANOTHER IMAGE. does it only work for text? Thank you very much & I will be adding a tip. Paula😀

I believe to convert to curves in a group you can select each grouped item and then it will convert the whole group! Let me know please if not correct!

In a comment you said that a 1800x1800 pixel image can be printed at 6x6. Does that mean it can ONLY be printed at 6x6 or is that the minimum it should be printed at? I wanted to make digital stickers that people can print but this is a bit complicated and I rather not do it if i'm unable to make sure dpi is correct. Thanks!

Shouldn't Serif address that line issue at some point? Someone in the forums told me that it can be avoided by making a few changes to snapping: Non-integer values in the objects will cause this issue. Use Pixels as the unit of measurement. Use the following snapping settings: - Set Move by whole pixels to off. - Set Force pixel alignment to on. - Have snap to pixel grid turned on. - Have every other snapping option turned off

If it's a font, enter the letter you want, like "B" -> convert to curves -> (since the shapes might be grouped, but as single curves, combine them to make single shape) -> you can add a rectangle that would fit the whole shape and add linear or other type of gradient to the rectangle -> place rectangle in the curve of the letter and have same effect. This way you can change the rectangle and have a non-destructive way rather than having a pixel edit.
