Wow I learnt so much, I didn't notice you could use + to duplicate an effect like the outline ! I would normally duplicate text and put it behind and make it larger which is embarrassing to admit. I would love more typography tutorials please !!

I wanted to ask you about when you upload a graphic, close the program, and then go back into it, it requires permission to use the graphic; otherwise, it's blurry. Do you know a workaround? This is in AD.

Hi, I only have Affinity 2.55 beta and for images with no background or white background only Clip Canvas works, Rasterize & Trim does not work as you showed for images with white background. It would be interesting if Clip Canvas worked on any solid color background.

Starting to wrap my head around this, thank you. Ok so if I want to create artwork in Procreate where the possible print size could be A1 poster or A2 poster, are you suggesting it's best to find out the pixel dimensions of A1 and work on a canvas to that pixel size? And then if the same file will be reduced in half to print A2 instead, there shoulnd't be any disruption to the image? Thank you so much in advance for your help

Thanks. As far as I can tell the rasterize and trim feature is for trimming off the part that hangs off the edge. The rasterize option will remove the transparent part of the image automatically. Unless you want to chop off at the edge you can use rasterize without the trim option.

Very helpful tutorial. I am so new to phot editing and Affinity photo and designer that I don't understand many of the commands or even wh to look for. So this video provided a couple explanations of functions about canvas and other thing that I didn't even know existed. I really need to get some instruction and come up to seed on Affinity Designer and Photo because I am trying to use the AI art in my woodworking and making projects and they often need to be manipulated before I can use them. I do lots of Epoxy art which takes very clean vectors and the CNC software I use does an adequate job but looking for a more efficient process. I'll keep looking through your videos. Do you have a recommendation on a video or playlist on how to take AI images and turn into SVGs that can be used in CNC and Laser software?
