In this episode of Milonga Mascarita: The Podcast, US-based author Maria Finn discusses her 2010 memoir: "Hold Me Tight and Tango Me Home", an autobiographical novel about her experience learning tango. It's a story of personal transformation through the unique cultural medium of Argentine tango.
The book documents the dancer's journey with its obstacles, learnings and various experiences along the way.
Also joining me in this podcast is Fiona Szeto a Hong Kong-based tanguera who is reading the book and recommended it to me. She shares how she could relate to the books stories and challenges.
