If your oil cap is shaking a lot if you unscrew it and leave it there I'd consider it too much.

@@hdflixxz2166 thanks. I've seen plenty of otherwise healthy Diesel engines with a good amount of positive pressure. No smoking, starting issues or power loss. I always assumed that Diesel engines will have more blow by than a gas engine because of the high compression

Never trust a mechanic. Get a laptop and the ISTA+ BMW software and do your own work for satisfactory results.

Hey, you need to manually code the unit. If you have an ICOM that would be quite easy to do and a proper way but since the ICOM costs some money manual coding would be much better option for you. More on manual coding is explained in my other video. Basically you will need to code the audio settings to a hi fi as I suppose the unit came from the car with an amp/logic7 etc. Once you have the option enabled you should have a sound straight away, also the "chirp" is coded in the CCAPP . Hi, so you replaced your CCC from another car? If so it would need to be programmed to your car. You could manualy code the settings on each module to suit your car, it is possible to do this way but it's time consuming. What kind of bundle did you bought?

@@BimmerShedNIso I got them to work following you step by step but the modules SIM/SGM, RDC, ASK, DWA, ANTTU, MOSTGW, MMI/CCC, BZM/SZM, CID, KLIMA and CCC all have yyyyyyyy for VIN. What other ECUs do I need to do the FA Write to get them read the vin?

Pump is new(about a year old) old one makes the same noise. Same thing on M47 engine.

@@daniellozan350 For example, vapor is made up of small water particles, but smoke contains solids such as soot or metal oxides. You are right.. the vapor is normal, if it is smoke then your exhaust system could be leaking.

Noise will be there as it's meant to be like that, all good. "smoke" wise it's actually a vapour, gases from crankshaft. If it's excessive white smoke from the exhaust system, then most likely a crankcase breather is clogged or a rocker cover gasket is leaking.

@@BimmerShedNI Ok, I did tough about crankcase breather to. Iv both one yesterday and will fit tomorrow’s at some point and let you know. Also my engine it has slight miss firing and I tough that noise was making it from the lifter but soon as I close the oil filler cap and disappears so am guessing it’s one of the injectors either leaking or not working properly. I did unplug individual injector while running and it seams the 3 injector down make much difference when unplug so hopefully il find the issues with the slight running

@@BimmerShedNIcan I send you a video of my ticking this morning, after 25 min A1 motorway driving and then the issue was noticeable when stuck in traffic on a bridge, near where I live. Disappears almost, when pushing the accelerator but once your foot is off, it is louder. I have a video but unsure where to send.

@@shiftyuk hi, most likely it's a mechanical issue if it started like that. Recently there's been an increase of a failing timing chains on M57. If you search on RUclips about m57 chain rattle or similar, you might hear exact noise.

Hi, you could try to manually code the head unit, since you need a proper Icom to write the VIN to it and default reset afterwards, the best option would be to do it manually. See my other video how to code the aux in manually, use it as a guide, it will be much simpler to activate it in the module itself, also you can activate the chirp(makes the sound when locking and unlocking the car) it's in the same module. But first remove(delete) the $606 option and add $609 (CCC professional navigation) then hit Back, choose CAS Change Job to FA_write->Execute job. When job done choose LMA make sure Job is the same(FA_write) hit Execute. This will permantly save the vehicle order in both modules. Then close the NCS the. Open again. Chose Manipulation profile and once you see the list of the modules CAPPL(or close to that) will be listed. It's the one you need to access and the enable the function you need in order to activate the option in the ncsdummy. P. S. Since you have ccc also activate the increased aux in gain in caudi module (everything is in my other video)

Should be slightly different as I think you might have a Mask2 unit. If so you still need to add +NAUX and default reset the Mask2. If you do have any custom coding on the Mask2, then please watch the manual aux in coding with gain adjustment. One of my other videos.

Hi, yes I agree. There is seems to be an issue with the quality in RUclips settings themselves. Quality is not available... Check in a day or two, it might be fixed.
