Great video! I grew up on the mainland side across from Lummi, right on the beach. My brother and I would ride our bikes to the ferry and head across to the island for the day. Back then, it was free for us (kids) to cross on foot, $1 if we brought our bike, $5 per car. The 4th of July is amazing! We used to build a bonfire on the beach, light fireworks we got from the local native firework stands, and watch the fireworks being set off across the water on Lummi. Then, there's exploring the beach when the tide is out, looking for starfish and crabs, watching big boats and barges going by, as well as whales, seals, and the natives practicing for the annual canoe races.

I have rather irrational fears of animal encounters. Mt Lions and Sharks are most certainly out to eat me any time I'm in the water or mountains lol. Always checking over my shoulder. Looking forward to some more hike videos! Those woods and water look so clean and pristine!
