Powerglide and Warpath look more like Gobots than Transformers.

Sideswipe is such a good design😭 the lambo hood gives a strong muscular silhouette and his shoulder cannon is so nice. And like Optimus his mid section gives the appearance of abs without being overtly human

Great ranking. IMHO, I feel Prowl is the most aesthetically perfect Autobot/Transformer. He has all the attributes to make a perfect character. Head/face sculpt. Police decals on the wings/doors. The whole law enforcement look adds to the heroic autobot thing. Wish he got featured more in the cartoon

I’ve always liked Starscreams g1 color scheme because it reflects his character if you think about it. Mainly because he has all primary colors. He stands out among all the other decepticons who have purple or black. He has a main character color scheme even tho he isn’t the main guy, he’s always trying to be.

Soundwave would have blasted or stomped you for calling him an Autobot, even in error. I disagree with your opinion of Laserbeak. You can't go wrong with black and red on anything.

Croc has a good design... for an AKOM episode. Still a good design.

Much like you, I was never a fan of the blue groin strap that goes up Optimus Prime’s back. Especially, since that's not how he looked in the original Marvel Comics run of The Transformers. Apart from that, Optimus Prime's design is solid. And he remains my favorite Transformer.

Interesting List. I preferred the toy heads of Motormaster, Dead End, Dragstrip and Menasor. I'm not a fan of most of the cartoon original designs like Nightbird, Orion Pax, Alpha Trion, Wreck-Gar and Kup. I never liked when non Transformers characters like Nightbird were shown to get the upper hand on actual Transformers.

I definitely think Blitzwing should be equal to Astrotrain they both have a cool design. BTW I never liked Menasor, it looks like they just strapped cars on a body with no joints. He had a cool looking head though.

The wings are on a double joint, you can lower them down in robot mode for a cleaner look. Most people tend to just leave them in their altmode configuration for some reason, idk why Edit: you showed that piece of articulation in robot mode, now I look silly cuz I didn't fully watch the video
