The reason that this song is hard for me to hear is because I once heard a very good friend singing along my high school choir. I didn't know she could sing, and she passed away three days later on Christmas Eve. This version brings that memory flooding back. After I got saved it just got harder for me, and now I can't hear it without crying. The story of Christ's birth is just as beautiful as this song. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! (Philippians 4:13)
