I think you can be friends with your Ex. However for this to happen there has to be a level of maturity and respect for one another. It's been my experience that everything happens for a reason. People come into our lives for various of reasons and our experiences whether good or bad all come to teach a lesson or to sow a seed. My Ex's taught me valuable life lessons about myself, my preferences what I will tolerate and what I won't. She did have a past drug problem, but she had also battle up and down weight problems as well......Like Luther Vandross. Luther had a stroke and died later from it. Our bodies can't take the stress of extreme weight gains and losses to much. It could have been the result of whatever she took to battle that weight. The media have never covered up when a singer or actor had drug problems, I'm sure if that was the case, it would have been brought out.
