We went in 1974 or 75, I was 5 years old. I remember the fancy dress competition. Was there a swimming pool there and trampolines?
Thank you for reviving sweet childhood memories, we visited from '62-'76, I was 15 months to 15 years of age. I fondly remember Mrs Kay and the Kay-Sway dance in the ballroom, Sporty, Wakey-wakey, the "late" box in the dining hall, cork and ball, table tennis, billiard hall, kid's fancy dress, sports day, the wooden surf boards...the list is endless, oh and 1 TV in the whole place! Halcyon days!!!
