I think that is why it was discontinued bcuz that smell was tragic even in the 80’s…u would think they would have perfected the smell…I am a licensed cosmetologist and I hated doing these…but, I love the after!

Name 1 ethnicity that doesn't alter their hair to style it. From mud, pressing etc. Lets face it, hair shame was imposed on us while other groups were altering theirs just for the heck of it. Check out historical depictions in art of Ancient, Greek, Roman, Europeans through the Medieval, Baroque and Victorian etc. periods. Not to mention mens wear and hair. NO MORE SHAMING, LEARN HISTORY OF MANKIND.

From time to time a sister will want to change her hair and she does not need to justify it. Natural hair is hard work no matter what the length (talking from experience) and anything that makes that process easier is perfectly fine. Love how happy you were with it

An important step is to never comb dry hair, it interferes with the curling process and can also break, as in this case it is dry. When we do a perm, we must tell our clients how they should maintain it at home. It will have to go 3/4 days without washing. So having a spray bottle with water is a little bit of styling cream. styling cream that defines curls. in addition, salt-free and perfume-free products. so that it doesn't dry out your hair even more. 1. wet your hair a little. 2- styling cream (moisturizer to define curls). 3- serum 4- if you want, dry with the diffuser, it's important not to be wet.

I have been using the wave nouveau lotion on my 4C hair with my leave in, oil and gel. Instant defined curls w/o a chemical process. No odor problem either

I got mine 4 months ago. Love it ❤️. The smell don't bother me at all but I'm familiar with it from the 80s. However, I start with some water and then the product.. and last some oil. Doing great for my hair... Thickening it up and growing.. I just graduated to the purple rods. 💜💜💜

I have a question, when you do the Jerri curl process and then your hair grows back 4c do you need to get a big chop?
