How does mark to market work if I trade futures along with stocks and options? Will I still get discounted tax on the futures? Do I have to close all positions at the end of year? Thanks

I created my Lightspeed account and I’m still familiarizing my self with the hot keys and all other options while trading. My biggest concern with the platform is not being able to have the (stop loss) on or attached to the buy order. I think having to buy and then add a sell limit order (stop) is scary and risky. Can Lightspeed now have a stop loss or sell condition when you buy??

Lightspeed was terrible! I lost money because their system went down while I was in a trade and even after calling their office and asking them to get me out of the trade manually they did a terrible job of getting me out, when I called them my trade was in the money, but it took them so long to act that it went in the red! ....
