Hatte 2 Jahre einen G31 ohne IAL. Nun einen mit IAL. Habe keine Sekunde gebraucht, mich darauf einzustellen. Der Effekt ist ja auch super gering. Fast schon enttäuschend gering. Man kann die IAL deaktivieren. Das werde ich mal machen und hoffe, dass mir dabei zumindest der größere Wendekreis unangenehm auffällt.

@@wackawacka12345 also ich muss sagen das ich daran gewöhnt habe. ich finde es mittlerweile ein deutlich besseres fahren! ich merke den unterschied auf jeden fall.

You are right, altough there just was a temporary speed limit for the day and the car hasn‘t realised it.

I also thought that but then saw the following video where you can see the acceleration from 100-200 km/h in around 15s which is quite fast. Ergo the electric engine is still working over 140 km/h. Quite fascinating because it isn’t connected to the/any transmission as you said. Cheers

@@Q12FundMDesign Where is the video you saw about 100-200 of the same car? Probably its about series 3/5 Hybrid. I can't find any Active Tourer 230e 100 to 200 video test.

Previous version F45, 225XE has 15kW belt driven generator/booster. It is used for battery charging and for boost. It is described in manual. If you look at sport displays, you will see 115kW (160 Hp) when boost sign is on during full throttle at speed above 125mk/h. Also, very different feeling is when you want to accelerate from 100 or 130km/h. At lower speed it has all 165kW and it will easier overcome inertia. After that it just goes. Moreover, In sport mode it shifts gear just at 125km/h and you can feel loss of power at that point. However, effect is less noticeable if gear is not changed at that speed (D with kick down or manual shift). Finally, on highway I had different experience: with fully loaded car, sometimes I felt greater acceleration, than when I was alone. I don' know is it just me or car. I hope It's me. I had that experience in other cars.

The electric engine on 330e is connected to the gears and it works to the max speed. The electric engine on the 230e and previous 225xe (that I own and I know well) is limited to 125-135 Km/h because is single gear. The acceleration id good just till this speed and pretty slow from 130 to the max speed. The good part on the 2 series, since the electric motor drives the rear wheels, you get a 4wd car, while a 330e is rwd. Very different cars for different needs.

Servus, ja das ist möglich, muss aber programmiert/angelernt werden. Das kann eine BMW Werkstatt ohne Probleme machen. Alternativ geht das auch über die MyBMW App ohne Fernbedienung

Hallo, die Fernbedienung wird mit einer Taste aktiviert. Die unteren beiden Tasten lauten Start und Stopp. Also erst aktivieren und dann auswählen, ob man die Standheizung starten oder beenden möchte

Electric Power Limit to around 55% was because the electric motor has 177hp which is 54% of the total power output of 326hp.

@@stormdancer1910 that can't be right. 177hp with a 0-100 time of 10+ seconds doesn't make sense. It looks like normally the electric motor is limited to about 50% of its power and only available in boost mode. I'll need to test it and find out, or I hope the poster of the video can confirm.

In electric mode, the acceleration is generally limited and there is no „boost mode“. Boost mode is just for the Hybrid drive in this case

@@Badonicus if I was paying for the petrol no! Thankfully my company do. Ps. Its now around 250ps plus 100 ish from the batteries so it's fairly quick.

its 4500 lbs thats why. its actually pretty good for the weight.

Die Standheizung ist wirklich eine coole Sache - gerade bei dem Wetter im Herbst und Winter. Wenn die Standheizung aktiviert wird, wird sie automatisch ab Motorstart, nach 30 Minuten oder wenn Kraftstoff/Batterie fast leer ist, deaktiviert. Sie schaltet sich danach nicht mehr von selbst ein. Bei Fahrzeugen mit Standheizung entfällt der Zuheizer, der bei Dieselmodellen die Heizung ab Motorstart beschleunigt. Hier unterstützt bei einem wirklichen Kaltstart ohne Vorheizen dennoch die Standheizung. Bei kaltem Wetter und Kurzstrecke müsste man nach Abstellen die Standheizung von außen hören, weil die dann noch nachläuft.

@orion8012: Yeah, it barely catches up at 220 km/h. That is more or less irrelevant, tbh. If it did catch up from a lower speed, then it would've worth mentioning.

You go in Sport Mode and press the DSC Button once. Then you go in DS with the transmission, press the brake very hard, then the accelerator and there you go. You have to press the brake pedal very, very hard.
