Thumbs 👍 the korg minilogue xd is a big box of sounds waiting to be discovered. I have only had mine 2 months and have found hundreds of sounds and effects😊.

Quite expansive sound - very nice. I am curious - are you splitting the signal from the XD before you insert it into the modular time function or is it all passing through the modular? Cheers 🌿
@@Tetrad10 To be honest I'm a little new to modular synthesis so my understanding is a little limited haha. Basically the set up is, the LFO on the Volca is patched so it is constant and is also patched to the sample and hold/woggle section. Then that is inputted directly from the LFO on the Volca to the Minilogue CV Input using a CV cable and a crocodile clip. Then I've synced the Minilogue and Volca using just a normal sync cable. If that makes any sense lol. I'm just experimenting at the moment and expanding the Minilogue sound whilst learning how modular works. The Volca is set to modulate the pitch of VCO 2 on the Minilogue 🤔🥴

What a combo. And what lies ahead. Let me ask you, IMHO another "toy" that could fit with your style is the Microfreak. I would love to know your opinion about it.
@@madDormo you know the micro freak looks awesome I've seen a tonne of videos on it. Admittedly I can't afford anything else right now lmao 🤣. But if and when I do get something next it'll be either the micro freak or the monologue. I've had my eye on the monologue for some time now 💕
@@parker9243 I'm in the same position 😅Although in my case I think I'll go for the freak! All the generative and random possibilities that it offers is a massive reason for me. For the same reason I was tempted too by the volca modular but my budget is tight so, finally, I prefer to save the money for the freak in the future. Anyway, I can't wait to see what that X-logue duo + modular you're preparing will bring us. Surely it will be really, really deep bass :)
