how to do this damage on spiral volley ? mine is 1k with the same all gem linked - my level atm is 54, its a reason for too low ?
@@omarlon_ likely is your level and bow. Going into crit before getting a crit bow is likely not ideal generally.

Hey! I know this is kind of old, but for some reason I'm having trouble 1shotting packs and rares with snipe. I have a pretty decent good bow, my currenty spiral volley critical hit chance it´s 30%, seems like that's the problem. Any ideas how to fix?
@Clazt for the spiral volley make sure to pick up the annoint leaping ambush whenever you have enough currency. For snipe if you are struggling you can actually use multiple barrage skill gems and cycle through them it makes it a lot more forgiving and it's more damage. Another thing you can so for clear is use the ice ring and herald of ice I reference in the pinned comment. Lmk if you need any more help!
i think this is mostly a prob for people that dont play ssf in ssf you struggle quit hard even early maps
it's clear that the end-game doesnt reflect the slower ''souls-like'' gameplay they have been advertising for years, and that is present during early campaign. Poe 1 stuff ported in at the least minutes, without any balance whatsoever. Of course its holidays and they are going to change stuff. Just looking at maps layouts, theres no way they design those with any of the current league mechanics in mind. They should remove all of them, and start figuring out how to make towers and mapping feels good (I don't see much difference between towers and sextant blocking tbh, which players hated). Might be too late already since they players are already been showered in divines. I've been playing poe 1 for 12 years now, and i really enjoy it for what it is, but in my mind, poe 2 was gonna be a ''different'' game. If they don't adress clearspeed and loot drop very soon. I don't see why they would keep updating poe 1, as they said they'll do.
the campaign is made by a team of devs and the endgame by another one they tried to port poe1 mechanics to poe2 which doesn't work
all ARPGs devolve into speed clearing due to how loot drop mechanics work. You kill more monsters, you get more loot. More speed = more reward. The only way to fix this is to increase loot drops to a ridiculous degree for long fights against evenly-matched bosses. If a single 10 minute protracted boss fight dropped enough high-rarity loot to overcome 10 minutes of speed-clearing trash mobs in maps, people might do more bossing. There is another problem though. Maps only allow ONE try. If you die, you lose the map, so bossing is now even HIGHER risk and thus not worth the reward. Why risk a map chance on a boss for big loot when I can do speed clears and not risk death?
You're not even counting the Exp loss at high levels, and that's honestly the biggest slap in the face of any of it.
Monster HP doesn't scale up, but monster damage does to a very high degree - this further incentivizes speed clearing as a defensive strategy as well Except for Bosses. t15 map bosses have literal millions of HP, but tickle the player's health bar compared to trash mobs killing us in 3-4 hits. Also Archmage Spark is an outlier - both insane clear and insane damage, probably will be nerfed next week
It became a lesser PoE 1 too fast. Sadge.

Lesser? I'm sorry you feel thay way, because I've loved it significantly more than I ever did PoE 1. To each their own, I guess.
@@Ethan_Fel the game is finished tho, all these issues are base level game design issues, which you can't resolve by patching since is the backbone of the game
@royalecrafts6252 it's far from finished and no it's not issue that can't be fixed by patching, what are you talking about. In 6-12 months when the 1.0 will come out the end game will be very different.

Completely aggree, the game is heavily tunneled into having high clearspeed. and that's the whole endgame, before you maybe get to the very end? The devs want you to use different combo skills, but the game clearly does not. Also some are asking for boss on each map, you are saying we should have more specialization content, which i agree with at some extent. I think the endgame lacks variety on a basic level, every map is the same, boss maps are the same as normal maps, just have a boss. mechanics on maps are too vanilla untill t15s and upgraded. And all the mechanic that could introduce variety are also balanced in favor of clearspeed. In my opinion the game needs more variety of content on a basic level from the very start of the endgame, different events and different types of maps, some content that is hard but rewarding (with checkpoints and not a single death), some maps focused on clear, some focused on slower but hard hitting enemies, etc etc. And the ability then to shape this to focus on a thing you prefer. Not just like "i only want to do expedition", because that's kind of there in the endgame already, and it's similar to poe 1, the maps are still maps, you still feel like you need to clear the map, to get waystone drops etc etc. Many people like blasting through maps and i do, and you do. But many really felt a very different kind of vibes from this game, being slower and more skill based, when it just ended up being poe1 endgame, but worse. And at this point I am pretty sure we just need to have different types of ways of playing the game and the possiblity to chose which one you like more. Having a variety of different things to do would need you to adapt to different situations too, which would reward multi-button builds.

your point stands, but just gotta put it out there that there is content for builds that are not speed cleared focused. Sims for instance dont require speed clearing but focus a lot more on being tanky and surviveability. Ultimatum is slightly similar too
@AbdulRehman-hm5do simu does stand (although it pretty much doesn't exist unless you could speed clear fast enough to get the splinters) ulti doesn't really since it doesn't have a progression system tied to it like sanctum for example does with relics and ultimatum also barely scales with character power at all tbh due to how poorly (imo) it's designed with rooms that take a static amount of time such as the wave clear room or the escort room. Much more of an early to midgame thing than an actual late game progression system.
@@SwellBroccoli hey your forgetting about corrupted inscribes which is the real endgame scaling for ultimatums. I did one yesterday that duped 3 divs into 6 divs but had -max res penalty. But I agree regular lvl 80 ultimatums are too easy to be called endgame content.
@AbdulRehman-hm5do true I forgot about those since I've been avoiding ultimatum like the plague. Ya def true though simu especially is a good endgame in terms of character incentives just has super bad accessibility in terms of doing it at all. Either way though def need a lot more of that in general mapping. Good points!

There is a new broken version of this that I swapped to using Polcirkeln Sapphire Ring and herald of ice. Mathil already made a vid on it but for this deadeye setup main adaptation is to swap out brutality on spiral volly for cold infusion. Use the unique ring and get some area of effect from tree/jewels as well it is disgustingly strong. Also aim to get a bit of cold damage on some gear if you can but the cold infusion should be enough. I would make a vid on it but I am a bit bored of the build. This new version is bonkers op and lets you drop even more stuff for rarity if you choose to and have insanely satisfying clear.

@IrukaShinkai hey can't post a full tree rn but you should be fine just dropping the nodes that give increased chance to chain from terrain and getting the nodes near the big bow on the right that says 50%increased cold dmg while affected by herald of ice

Will this work ok even without all the gem sockets? would like to swap lightning arrow to this at 52.
will work fine with 3 sockets yes perpetual charge ambush and brutality are what id slot in first. 4 sockets is great when you get it and the annoint (distlled emotions thing) is probably more important than 5 sockets
wow. almost perfect timed snype deal 90k to boss. and perfect deal 380k. crazy. and that without second weapon and second weapon tree. 78 lvl
btw. jor jewels. i buy jewels with max crit chance for attack, max damage with bows. and some for damage to unique, rare. and dmg go out of control)))but yes. it cost a lot)
so im 75 lvl now. great aoe clear. but now snype deal 0 dmg to bosses. any other ways for high solo dmg?nice build. great job
@occultnerg5878 snipe is a weird ability where you need to time it perfectly but if you do it deals a lot of dmg. Barrage snipe should deal plenty of dmg but if you want another option ig all I could think of would be rain of arrows + default attack there aren't that many skills that use frenzy charges unfortunately.

@kamilkobuc4157 a few things you can do main one just being snipers mark to generate a frenzy charge + snipe. Snipe is your single target failsafe if you get a bit unlucky and a yellow monster doesn't get one shot you can snipers mark and snipe/barrage snipe them

@mr.truck99 it's fine the issue I just have with it is it's an increase and we already have hundreds and hundreds of crit dmg bonus that the opportunity cost becomes a bit wonky in terms of scaling dmg vs scaling crit dmg. Felt like scaling dmg was the way to go due to the hundreds of crit dmg
Was able to find a op corrupted pair of gloves with life, rarity, and double gain life and mana on kill with +1 to maximum frenzy charge corrupted implicit.
@nonoahnoz holy cow those sound nuts for your other comment, with my current setup I have had almost no problem with missing so that's the reasoning in terms of 4th ascendency I'm more just interested in moving on to the next build idea I have! Didn't know +1 frenzy was a corrupt enchant tg for the info
@@SwellBroccoli yeah theres alot on trade under the 'enchant' tag. I am trying to see what the maximum poe frenzy charge limit atm as the more damage multiplier + ascendancy is actually such a big damage spike.

@@frederik_9269 Theres also a pair of unique boots that grant +1 maximum frenzy charge and also 5% movement speed per frenzy charge but I am still figuring out if its worth investing in or just getting a rare boots with life, res and rarity.
why dont you pick up far sighted node on the passive tree for the reduced accuracy for long range? Really helps with clearing off screen mobs.
or complete the last ascendency for no accuracy penalty for range and unspec any accuracy points on your skill tree

There’s a poison acolyte of Chayula version that builds es, then uses insta mana leech converted to es leech. Seems pretty strong

nah id say you could easily get it going for around 10-20 exalts or less big barrier to entry is just the crit bow but other than that regular gear works fine I used campaign gear and a 5ex crit bow till like level 75
@SwellBroccoli Wow that sounds fairly cheap for the beginning. When would you say it gets expensive?
@@tomsorcc9067 generally it starts getting expensive when you start buying really good evasion gear so you use acrobatics. Buying good rarity pieces while also maintaining resistances also gets expensive as well.

haha you're not a true ranger mate. my level 97 ranger has 1.8k hp and barely dies. But of course that's also because of high evasion with acro as well as olroth's resolve. No real ranger stacks life lol.

hey man thanks for the kind words! the dash symbol is actually a tilda symbol also known as ~ I should have explained in the video. I have a browser extension called path of exile trade - fuzzy search which you can find here chromewebstore.google.com/detail/path-of-exile-trade-fuzzy/mkbkmkampdnnbehdldipgjhbablkmfba it automatically adds the ~symbol so you don't need to do it manually! The symbol makes it so you don't have to use exact language in the right order you can type resistance and it will come up with all the different types for example. Let me know if you need any further help!

@franzhulk2947 I think you def can. If you are starting late going into maps as crit is completely fine as you can trade for the bow. If ssf or starting at same time as everyone else and a fast player prob would need to go a non crit version. The barrier really is a cheap crit bow all the other gear is not super relevant!

How much did they pay you to lie? This game sucks and my friends already threw in the towel and quit after the first weekend. They aren't coming back I cannot imagine many would keep playing after the initial pay to stream funds stop.

This didn't age so well.
It actually is pretty damn similar to a souls like. Its an ARPG with souls like elements. There has been isometric souls likes before like hollow knight and salt and sacrifice. Its an ARPG first but there's tons of similarities to souls likes in this game.
You were wrong , it is souls-like. I have never seen an arpg game requiring this kind of mechanics skills.
Agree, also never played an arpg where I did 300 times by just playing through 3 acts in normal. All you do in the game is dodge rolling and kitting even if you play as warrior titan.
Dam, that intro was darker than the whole D4 campaign lol. Even the voice acting is amazing.

The passion of the devs alongside the passion of the players really sets this community apart from others. I’m glad I decided to play it and to be amongst likeminded people who love PoE. December 6th will be legendary.
d4's UI is mobile as hell looking. Even the inventory tetris lacking just makes you feel like you might as well be interacting with text data only. That game, at best is an arcade game.

Something to add in regards to PoE having business as a facet of it, because the game is free to play and makes money from cosmetics, that gives GGG even more reason to make the game as incredible as it is, since people wouldn't support financially it if it wasn't worth their time. That on its own is a good testament to the quality we can expect.

You can see from the first 5 seconds that the devs exactly know what they are doing and absolutely love their own game for what it is. They can be very proud and i strongly believe it is allready the final nail to the coffin of Diablo 4.
