Mörk Borg: Cult of the Blood God
Yeah, ya boy knows how to get the umlaut above the "o" so the name of the game is correct.
It's okay to be impressed/slightly aroused.
In this extra-long episode, our usual gaggle of weirdos sat down to play the adventure Cult of the Blood God by Hexhog (hexhog.itch.io/cult-of-the-blood-god). The adventure is gory, weird, and definitely worth your time. I mean, who doesn't love ending a one-shot with a chase scene???
Thanks again to our fantastic guests:
Mr. Ray, host of $2 Creature Feature
fame (2dollarcreature.carrd.co/)
Eric Crumrine, host of The Queer XP
(www.patreon.com/posts/queer-xp-podcast-93639153)
And CJ [LAST NAME REDACTED], host of DnD game I was once in with a bunch of strangers....

Conan and Eric rejoin Rich and Nate to discuss our award winning* Spelljammer AP. We cover everything from how to handle interspecies love at the table to what even is a steampunk. We also discuss how WotC completely stepped in it with the Hadozee because sometimes its just fun to punch up at a deserving target. Oh, and Wild Wild West IS steampunk and if you disagree, please reach out directly ...

Well hello there, space listeners! Space DM Conan (@Conan_Lybarian) let me in on a little secret: you can make anything fit Spelljammer if you throw "space" in front of it. Space hamster. Space castle. Space colonoscopy. Anything! He's a remarkable man. Anyway! Thanks to both Conan and returning guest Eric (@ECrumrine) for hanging out with us! Tune in next week for our Inn Between episode in wh...

Hello folks! I am very happy to bring you this chat with Wythe Marschall, author of the SPECTACULAR game "Stillfleet". Though you get the quickstart rules right now, a Kickstarter for the core rules is scheduled to launch August 1st. If that date changes, I'll let you know ASAP because I want Stillfleet to get all the attention and love it so richly deserves. Here's where I would normally list ...

No, your eyes don't deceive you - this is a nearly two-hour episode! I think this is the longest episode we've ever put out, and boy howdy is it a strange and wonderful one. Returning guests CJ and Matt join Rich and Nate for the exciting conclusion to our Questlandia actual play set in the weird west. We hope you enjoy it and that you'll join us next week for our Inn Between in which we talk a...

After interviewing Hannah Shaffer, we knew we had to play Turtlebun's Questlandia (turtlebun.itch.io/questlandia). This episode has everything you need, provided what you need is a town built around drinking bug pee, social upheaval, questionable casting choices, and not a small amount of IMDB trivia. This first episode has all our world building and character creation, so enjoy it and make sur...
Hearthside Chat with Hannah Shaffer of Turtlebun

Well...technically, Hearthside Chats, if I'm being honest. It took so long since Hannah (@hanbandit) and I had our first interview that I had to ask her to come back on the show for an update! Make sure you check out Hannah and her design partner Evan Rowland's (@adrawnnovel) wonderfully weird games over on their website, turtlebun.com/ and on their itch page, turtlebun.itch.io/ and support the...
Corner Office: Part Two

Hello, Actioneers! It has recently come to management's attention that many of you are using this podcast as a means of distracting yourself from the doldrums of the day. This is unacceptable. Doldrums and depression suffered by our employees are not to be remedied by entertainment. They are to be suffered through in stoic silence as the only true cure for misery is a love of hard work and a de...

Good morning, you productive little worker bees! This is Nate from HR and I just want to thank you for your hard work and dedication in these troubling and challenging times. Though the apocalypse may be raging outside, inside the walls of Company Co. Headquarters, our only concerns should be promoting a synergy-focused work environment and seeking new avenues of revenue development. We want to...
One Shot: This Game Takes Place in Your Home Town

Richard and I haven't had the chance to hang out face-to-face recently, what with the move and all. We thought we'd remedy that with a good ol' fashion Jenga-based TTRPG! Last time, we played the excellent Wickies and made it all the way to the end of the game without dying somehow. Can we push our luck again and come survive the fall of our hometown? Will our Jenga tower collapse just like soc...

Great mechanism to bring in new characters. (I don’t think they used the wound mechanic, but for a high-lethality game, it works.) Thanks for recording and posting. I can’t wait to try it. WAIT! Knave 1e or 2e? I wonder if the wound mechanic was a later addition. I also liked seeing the reversed rolls for defending and stuff
It looks like an amazingly clever and simple system.
😊👍
Is this a solo experience?
Not by design, but there are a lot of solo systems you could use with this as your setting.
Great introduction to Knave
omg i love you guys, keep up the good work
We love you more 💕 Thanks for listening and for taking the time to comment!
@@podofblunders8009 thanks :D

Hey I saw your reddit post so I came to check you out and you are so underrated this channel deserves hundreds of thousands of subs
Thank you so much!
You've gotta be KIDDING me with these goat puns! *rock music plays*
Nice quick review. Knave is great. And so easy to hack. Anyone can take this game and easily modify it to make the best OSR RPG for their particular gaming group.
The complication die sounds like a great way to keep the narrative interesting! Also the Kaiju sounds like a really fun way to play!
I'm here because of my love of Thomas Jane in The Punisher 2004
Thank you so much for a very enjoyable conversation!
Great podcast! As a woman who DMs a game with only guys, we are introducing the X card.
