If you and your spouse are advance level holder you can play in a situation where you are the main applicant then husband and kids are under your application as beneficiaries on the other hand your husband will play and you with the kids will be added in his application as beneficiaries

If you register as an Advance level holder while you are still in upper sixth you don't need to continue further processing of your visa application because after spending on passport, medical exam, filling out the Ds260 form and paying your interview fees you will be disaqualified on the day of your interview I doubt if you even get to that stage because immediately after been selected you have to first fill out the Ds260 form putting in information of your advance level certificate

If by the time you are playing the lottery the child is under 21 e.g 20 yrs 11 months you can play with her, and if the results comes out and the child has turn 21 and still unmarried you can add her ds260 but if the child turns 21 and has a put to birth the child can travel but the grand child can't, lottery is for father, mother, biological children and legally adopted children. Though you can file for siblings while in the US already
