I use tubular netting for finger bandages to secure chicken liver on the hook and have used this technique to even catch 2 fish on the same liver. It also allows you to throw HUGE chunks of liver to reject bites from smaller fish. I’ve never lost the netting in hundreds of casts for anyone curious. Even when I lose the liver the net always comes back with the hook, fish caught or not. It’s by far the best solution I’ve found. You just cut about 2.5” of netting, stuff it with liver, tie the two ends together in a double knot, cut off the excess netting if necessary, and barely hook it on the edge of the liver. It won’t come off and I get a much much better bite on this when compared to gizzard. Gizzard is also almost impossible to remove from the hooks without pliers even when it’s fresh. God forbid you forget a bait on the hook and it dries out…. Hope this helped people out!

I never had any luck with chicken gizards but I have never mixed it up with the chicken livers how does it work..

I have never used chicken gizzard to fish with definitely will have to try and see if I can catch some catfish thanks for sharing your videos keep on fishing
