This scripture can be a little confusing sometimes, but yes avoid evil and avoid the appearance of evil. Yes, there are sometimes when we see sinful things and witness people sin, but we have to guard our heart with everything. That's one reason I hardly watch tv anymore, that's why I stopped listening to secular music and started looking for gospel music I like and some of those songs are really good. It's not gospel rock, or gospel rap, but its just beautiful music that gives glory to God.

Just came across your video. I might agree to disagree with some of your statements. The main problem is bad governance and a lack of visionary leadership often contribute to underdevelopment despite the availability of resources. In most cases our leaders prioritise personal gain over the public good, treating governance as a business venture rather than a service to the nation. This can lead to the mismanagement of resources and opportunities that should benefit the wider population and that's what is happening in Malawi We as a nation mostly have a "poverty mindset" and this can manifest as short-term thinking, focusing on immediate personal gains rather than long-term national development. It’s a cycle that is difficult to break without a collective shift in values, policies and accountability structures. For many Malawians, access to the country's resources and the wealth they could generate remains out of reach due to these systemic issues. It's not only about the existence of resources but about how they are managed, who controls them, and how benefits are distributed. Fostering better governance and nurturing a new generation of leaders with a focus on integrity, accountability, and service can play a significant role in breaking this cycle. Corruption is also a critical issue in Malawi, as it is in many other African nations. It really undermines development, widens inequality, and perpetuates poverty...

Shut up, please. You are not making sense. I'm from Uganda and we have one of the most corrupt, if not the most corrupt governments in Africa. That IS NOT a representation of the rest of us Ugandans. You, Sir, aren't very bright.

For the most part I agree with what you said about quality of life in Malawi being attractive or even an equally viable option compared to life abroad. That being said, I'd like to give some pushback as someone living in the Netherlands (NL) for the last 7yrs (as a student and then working). _It's disingenuous to say security in Malawi is not an issue. Sure, there's no war but look at the number of street kids in Blantyre. Even consider how often there's break-ins in new Naperi. For women especially, it's unsafe to walk in town alone after 7pm. These are all things you could do in NL or even Germany and a lot of Western Europe. _Although when you get rich, you can travel to other countries for better healthcare, but disease isn't the only reason for our low life expectancy. Poor roads or general facilities aren't something you can easily avoid even with money. Be it because of business trips or family events like malilo, you'll end up exposed to similar dangers as average Malawians just at a reduced rate. _for 9to5ers, the quality of life before and after pension (in Malawi) is like night and day. That's also worth considering for most people. All in all, great video and glad to hear there's other people keen on living in Malawi. i'm still figuring out how to make that happen for myself but my heart is there too.
