    Good morning sir 🌅 I have a confusion..... It is an admitted fact that Fungi is more closer to animals than that of plants..... We say....@glycogen is RFM @ has actin filaments for movement @ movement present in plasmodial forms. @ heterotrophic mode Then why it is studied in botany and not in zoology??

    • @LomeshSharma
      @LomeshSharma 14 дней назад

      Good morning It's because of the trending classification system that we follow but Fungus is placed under a separate kingdom not related to plants . More closer to animals due to the reasons that you already mentioned.

    Polyembroyony is important because...... 1) all seeds obtained are healthy 2) all seeds are of uniform parental type 3) it provides many seeds from single generation 4) none Sir iam confused that.....are all seed produced are of uniform parental type ??? Because as in citrus there are two type of embroyo ...one is true made by fertilsation and other are nucellar origin....

    • @LomeshSharma
      @LomeshSharma 4 месяца назад

      Polyembryony is a common phenomenon in citrus, where multiple embryos develop within a single seed. This is a form of sporophytic apomixis, where the additional embryos arise from the nucellar tissue surrounding the zygotic embryo, rather than from the female gametophyte

    Hello sir......I have a query..... Q and R are the flowering plants of same species . Plant Q is defoliated and both the plants are then exposed to appropriate photo inductive cycles . A branch of R is then grafted on Q , which of the following response is obtained A) only R will flower. B) only Q will flower. C) both R and Q will flower. D) no flowering in both.

    • @LomeshSharma
      @LomeshSharma 9 месяцев назад

      When a branch of R is grafted on Q depends on the photoperiodic response of the species. If both Q and R are short-day plants, both plants will likely flower. If Q is a short-day plant and R is a long-day plant, the grafted branch may not flower.

    Hlo sir I have a query virus possess dna or rna but never both .But why we said that leuko virus has both dna or rna ? Even Leuko virus is a retrovirus means at one time it has only rna as it's genome and upon infection a cell convert retroviral rna into dna.

    • @LomeshSharma
      @LomeshSharma 11 месяцев назад

      Leukoviruses typically have either DNA or RNA as their genetic material, not both. Most viruses have either a DNA or RNA genome, not both simultaneously. Retroviruses, are unique because they use reverse transcription to convert their RNA genome into DNA after entering a host cell. This DNA is then integrated into the host cell's genome. So, they are referred to as RNA viruses during their replication in the host, but they temporarily use DNA as part of their life cycle.
