Moon Rising on a November Evening
I didn't hear a peep from a single animal while taking this video at the pond tonight, so I thought I'd try something different. Here's 15 minutes of footage condensed to six seconds, so you can watch the moon move across the sky ✨ (I added some nights sounds too.)

    I'm so fortunate to live by waterways that are a great habitat for raptors, including the red-shouldered hawk. 🦅 In this video, you can hear the hawk calls as we rest by the brook, along with a sweet melody by the song sparrow. 🐦‍⬛

    I recently had a tree company over to help me decide which trees were a hazard and needed to come down. 🌲🌳 I knew this pine was rotting, but what I didn't notice previously is that it was struck by lightning 😮⚡ You can see the path it took down the tree, leaving a burn mark at the bottom (shown at the start of the video). 🔥 This tree is one of the closest to the house, we're so lucky the lightning didn't hit the house instead 🏡 🙏

    At some point in the summer, a ton of colorful flowers usually bloom around the edges of the pond. I look forward to it every year <3

    The intro feels a bit cringe, but I need a baseline for improvement and this is my experimental channel :) Here are some things I think could improve the video: - Use iPhone 15 Pro or DSLR camera - Use phone mount for car - Clean the windshield as best as possible omg lol (my car is persistently polka dotted with pine sap) - Pay more attention to lighting at different times of the day Feedback welcomed :) I'm trying to create a calming vibe with the ambient sound videos but my vision isn't aligned with my ability as a videographer atm.
