Today we catch some stocker rainbow trout and fry them up cajun style! For the cajun spices, we use: 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. onion power 2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. paprika 1/2 tsp cayenne 1 tsp white pepper 1 tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp thyme 1/2 tsp oregano

Good video glad to see the Delaware river being so lively and to see you all enjoying it. I have a question though regarding your boat, what length is it and around how much speed are you getting out of that 20hp jet you’ve got? I have a 16ft jon boat that I’d like to get a 20hp jet for but not sure if it would be enough power to get on plane and run the river.
Thanks! The boat is a 1648 and gets around 18mph with the jet with myself and my son. I went with a 20 because we also fish hp restricted lakes. The speed dramatically declines depending on weight, so I would personally like a little more power.

Bass numbers are okay but so many weeds on top and below make it a real challenge.
@@marks.11 It rained all morning and I missed the fishing. The state needs to treat the lakes for that junk. I did stop and look at the lake. When it was lowered they should have made money be dredging it to make it deeper. They would have made enough money to fix a few lakes with dam issues.

Nice video. That's about the size of the pickerel I usually get there during the open water season. Most are in the 14-18" range. Same goes for Tobyhanna.
Before the lake was re-built 26 inches was my personal best on the lake. Tomorrow ( barring rain) I’ll be going back in the first time in years. I’ve heard the bass are back big time. The musky were never re- introduced
that trip was awesome

Thanks, it's an Alumacraft 1648 mv ncs! We've fished quite a few rivers with it and it works well.
