She dreams in Korean 8 hours each night
One-third of a day she's miles away.
She returns with the clock each morning at 6
With a stretch and a yawn she's home at dawn
She flicks her hair and gives me a smile
We go out for breakfast. She likes her eggs fried
Sometimes I wonder: do I see her in full?
Are there bits that are hidden that I cannot get to?
She tells me I'm dreaming 'cause we all hide away
We are lost to ourselves most parts of each day

lyrics: Kobie Bosch. music: Steven Christopher Koroknay vocal & keyboard: Steve Koroknay backing tracks: Steve Koroknay There's days I want to scream out loud, rattle the windows, mute the crowd, shake my fists and rip the list. Fire, fire, invisible fire. Fire behind my lids, a rising tide of light. Too bright, too bright, for my tiny fists. Can't you hear me, can't you see? I'm burning up, I ...

Stormy Nights (The Journey of a Thousand Miles; Step by Step)

This song asks, "What's it going to take to address climate change?". It's very easy to become frustrated with inaction, and overwhelmed by what's needed and all the options being thrown out. But we have to keep going. "The journey of a thousand miles starts with one step" - Lao Tzu Step by step...step by step. Music written and played by Mark Horsley Lyrics, melody and backing vocals written a...
Pollution - a song by the Merrie Melodies
Просмотров 17Год назад
This is a song with a social conscience and a reggae groove, written in the mid-80's by Andy Horsley, drummer and recording engineer for the Merrie Melodies. The brass section did a special little dance when we played it live, which was fun. It was recorded in 1988 on a Tascam 4 track, mostly in the bathroom of Andy's family home for extra reverb, especially for the vocals and brass - all stand...
