236km/h in non-retarded units
On a non stepped hull(?) that’s insane speed. Great build well done
Rå båt!
Take my money.
If I got back into boating I would want something like this with a couple of 300Rs on it, but it is so sleek, I bet a single 500R push it really well.
Awesome!
Thats a lake boat😂😂😂🚢 wonder if you would gain more speed from enclosing the open cockpit and toss the extra weight 🤔 throw the seats out 😆 all joking aside that one hellofa build i see 160 coming.😊
can i see the boat bottom? ha. you have a pad! or a few? ha.
Availability? Options? Price?
Please let's hear the engine, its not a music video.
Think about this, if you wanted to listen to a symphony and there was the sound of a block chevy running, wouldnt you be pissed?
Insane
Dump the music so we can hear the symphonic sounds of the engine.
Hell yeah brother! Good luck at LOTO shootout this year!!
Why the inane soundtrack?
Great footage & congrats.
This boat has never lost a race to an outboard powered boat! Multi outboard powered cats? Sure bring it on!
I’ve never seen a multi outboard cat over 140 also this guy is in something totally different. Single engine v bottom. That’s what it’s built for and that what it’s gonna compete against. Other boats in that class. He also hit 148 with 1100. With 1350 I’m sure he’ll hit 165+
@@puttingwarheadsonforeheads9872 Without a doubt there's more speed to be found without the expense of adding more horsepower! The first thing is an engine cover with no hoodscoops and a safety cell canopy/capsule! Streamline aerodynamics and a bigger prop would enable that boat to reach hydroplane level of speed! I'm no engineer but a paper plane is a good way of understanding aerodynamics. Wind tunnel testing is definitely the best way!
Is it powered by a string concerto or an internal combustion engine?
It’s the mercury 1350 racing
@@jamesgilbert9254 The comment was "tongue in cheek" way of saying that I as a builder of racing engines would much rather hear the sound of the engine than the inserted musical sound bite.
@jamesgilbert9254 Don't worry, you made me laugh in agreement! Lol
