Can anyone tell me what tires (model/size) are on the rear axle ? They are clearly wider than the front ones; such a solution is not often found.

Just goes to show how much better dynamically the 914 was compared to the 911. Such a pity the changes at the top of VW management effectively put an end to the 914 which, if it had enjoyed the same continuous development as the 911, would have been a World-beater.

All that money... you'd think you could have made the rear fenders look like they "belong" like the front ones do. The coolest thing about this truck is the air brakes!

it is street legal, right now it stands at 12',6" by the summer it wil be just at 13',5" . 13' 1/2 is the tallest street legal size you can drive. but there are many bridges under that size, so when Glenn Haris takes her out he needs to plan the trip accordingly to the streets. Every time this CXT make an appearance, people come from all over to check it out. We were just at the 2hrs of Daytona test days and people were loving it.
