@@MrMrsCricket no, I mean, it doesn't matter as captain he doesn't have to lead from the front like Rohit or Cummins. He can contribute through captaincy and wicket keeping even if he can't maintain a good strike rate. I think the problem with the expectations is that every player has a different mindset and style, so you can't just neglect them based on their lower strike rates. Sometimes, other factors are important. Many have bashed Kohli final innings as selfish, but I won't call that because he was at least doing run a ball, and he kept rotating strike rates and let Akshar play. We know how in Final Momentum Shifts after big wickets like Kohli or Sharma. Sometimes, only the presence of great players keeps opposition under pressure. So Babar & Rizwan presence is important for your team. Of course, they should work on their playing and strike rates, but for the big matches, you can't neglect them. The best example is Dhoni. His overall tournament in the 2011 World Cup was not as good as finisher in many matches except for final and in that final too real pressure innings played by Gambhir, not Dhoni still he was good captain. So Rizwan doesn't have to perform exceptionally well he can contribute through other ways.

Strike Rate is just an added factor to a player, it is the skills and understanding and awareness of the game that comes into play when playing big games or any games. So yes Shaheen and Rizwan and Babar need to be reminded of that, however I am implying to the fact that as of now these 3 players are not in talking terms and from the looks of it, even Rizwan picked a side (i cannot the truth in that but it looks like it). But yes strike rate is important and often both of these batsmen are criticized by the pakistani people for no reasons. They are the leaders of the team and as of now they have no choice but to lead from the front but they also need to have proper support from the middle order and that is where the issue lies. But yes Rizwan is a great choice because he can keep the team together and he is deserving, far better than shaheen and babar. He should be given a chance. the only thing is he doesn't support any betting companies or anything that goes against his religious views so all the betting companies do not want someone like him leading from the front. at least that is the impression I got from him.

See that is where I am going to use logical reasoning: how come the GOV of India has issues everytime there is something with Cricket but has no issues in sending or citing "security reasons: for all other people visiting Pakistan or other sports visiting Pakistan? How come they voted for Champions Trophy taking place in Pakistan if they never intended to travel to pakistan in the first place? How come every time Pakistan take one step forward to making things right with India, there is always an issue with false claims of terrorism? I am starting to think that Pakistan is not that stupid to allow such attacks within Pakistan or start a war with India with such big events coming to Pakistan that is beneficial to Pakistan Govt and Army alike. I am starting to see that there is something else in place. and I can see Pak army or Pak govt making claims that India wants to deprive Pak and cut them off from the rest of the world. There is no logic to reasons of India raising security concerns over just Cricket and not everything else or anyone else coming to Pak from Indian border. Not to mention all other boards have no issues with security since all of them have come and gone and seeing how non-south asian teams have messed up Pak country than the Indian Govt, they will have more issues with Pak than India. It does not make any sense to have hybrid model over "security reasons." But as you said India has its reasons but so does Pak not to play India here or in the future and there should be a strong stance to refuse hybrid model (as contract has already been signed to be held in Pak) and refusal to play India. Another fact is that ICC and BCCI's biggest revenue in regards to ICC events comes from India Pak match alone, the recent World Cup is the biggest example of that. Pick up all the stats and you will see that even for broadcasters this reason alone will be problematic in terms of finance and revenue. We are already isolated so another dent won't affect us much but this might affect India more. But let's see what happens after 22nd July.

@@MrMrsCricket As I said earlier, I wouldn't waste time after why the government of India is not allowing. You can use all your logic. I can also give you multiple reasons, like Pakistan never gave MFN status like India did in the late 90s. So this one step forward thing not only you can complain, government of India has it's own reasons. Regarding terrorism and wars, I don't want to say anything. Otherwise, you won't be able to hear. 🤷🤷 I will refer you to a few books. Like Friends, not Masters by Ayub Khan. Raiders in Kashmir. In the Line of Fire by Pervez Musharaff. I have read all of these books, and these books are written by your army chief and president.

@@dharmeshparikh7837 Oh don't get me wrong on about "support for Pak Army." Like majority of Pakistanis or overseas Pakistanis, I am not in support of Pak army. They are the ones to ruin things within Pakistan and perhaps abroad in some perspective however for Cricket, I don't think they will be that stupid since it is beneficial for them as well in terms of money. secondly I cannot argue on MFN Status since I have no knowledge of that so I will do my homework on that first before I respond on that. again from logical perspective, I don't think that India has any reasons to address this as security concern when they are allowing other Indian nationals to visit for other sports or for other purposes. It is hypocrisy at its best. It is like saying that they only care for the lives of Indian cricketers but not all other Indians regardless of religion. as for war and terrorism, sorry but I believe both of our countries will argue that anything happening on our soil or yours is the fault of the others and our medias do not help the matters. Hence I sit and follow logical views and follow other third party medium to get my sources and from what I know Pakistan has its own fault for what happened on their soil and America helped create a lot of the terrorism around the world. Even some other countries are part of it. The only one who tried to stop this was Imran Khan and under his tenure, hardly any negative news came out in regards to terrorism. I wish he had been given more time to fix Pak.

@@dharmeshparikh7837 just did a quick research into this "MFN" as you and Indian government puts it. So far from what I see is that it is "he said she said" and after 2019 initial news on this, haven't seen an update on this. No investigation or logical provided by India and as stated, Pak is only going to loose by doing such act that is beneficial to them and the army on financial terms. Nothing was provided and again it is "he said she said" situation. I have not come across any news beyond 2019 articles (this is just quick googel search) but I am sure if I dig further I might find something from third party news outlet (al-jazeerah) perhaps. I don't take Indian media or Pak media as words of truth. that is my stance. anyways we would like to keep this channel and discussion strictly on Cricket and not bring political grounds because that doesn't benefit anyone. hate and spreading hate is not the way to live this life. it is short and live to the fullest and spreading hate and wasting energy on that doesn't help anyone and i am not saying that to avoid anything but just our philosophy of life.

@@MrMrsCricket you can argue why goi has only security concerns for cricketers, not other sports, but that's unfortunate reality. Financial & popularity matter the most in South asia culture. Cricket has huge money fame involved while other sports don't so government doesn't pay attention to that which is unfortunate reality they only focus on sports which has fame and money. This is the only valid point even though I agree that goi should ban all sports, not just Cricket, for security concerns if they are banning otherwise people like you can definitely call that hypocritical stance of goi and I can't argue with that. For your reference, MFN status ( most favored nation ) is given for better trade benefits. India gave first in late 90s and kept it even during 1999 war as well as 26/11 goi india canceled it in 2019 after Imaran Khan stopped trade with India. But during these 20-25 years' timeline, Pakistan never gave mfn status one time Navaz Sharif or any other government was thinking about giving MFN status to India during late 2000s and early 2010s, but pak Islamic radical Clerics protested and forced to never even talk about that. After that, no one even talked about that, and now it's over .

I had a whole reply typed for this but it was too long so I couldn't post. But I will say this much: the perks of residing in USA is that you get to see both sides with neutral eyes. I have no trust on both media however the way news is presented in Indian mainstream media and in Pakistan is different. Just like the Indian dramas, that are over the top and your own population agree to that, the Indian Media is full of hate when they are presenting and often do not have full investigated knowledge. There are only 3 news anchors or journalists or podcast that I have seen that are neutral and are often giving true information with proper investigation and one of them being Vikrant Gupta. Even he did not officially state that Indian Govt or BCCI has released any such information. Even he is stating his stance based on Ifs and Buts. as for Pak Media, we are not spreading anything. We are only informing what is official said and is there and most are responding based on what Indian media is spreading. We have been following both side news to say that for a fact.

@@MrMrsCricket You think the urdu/hindi Media is only Indian media. Just because you don't understand other regional languages doesn't make their news media lessor. All of India media, which doesn't publish news in hindi/urdu, also have millions of subscribers ( Mathili, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Kannada, Gujarati, Telugu, Assameses etc), and if you don't understand that, then it's not India's fault. There are literally news networks having millions of subscribers in print and multimedia journalism in languages other than hindi/urdu. Secondly, how come the entertainment industry comes into the picture here. You are comparing the drama industry with media, which is absolutely ridiculous. Just because you only know hindi/urdu doesn't mean other regional industries don't exist.

For me only English and Urdu or even Punjabi will do since those are the languages I understand. So anything that I cannot understand I do not comment on it mainly because it is not right to make a comment on something you cannot understand and it is not fair to me or anyone else. Would you make a comment on a language that you do not understand? So our point is only targeted to the mainstream media in India that is considered the main language of India or English speaking journalism. So i will take my words back about including all indian media (that is for mainly the regional media) but let me ask you this: can you state that none of them made the same comment as the mainstream hindi or english media? I won't be able to refute that since I cannot understand the language. as for the comment on industry, that was just an example of how it is over dramatic and the same goes for the news and that is just facts and not a way to start a war. it was to make a point not to start a dialogue on this matter. You still believe that our stances is to spread hate then please bring one of our clips forward or any Pak media clips forward that represent that. We understand where Indian Govt stance will be IF they officially agreed with the news circulating in India and have indeed stated officially that they will not come to Pakistan then please openly say it rather than the media hyping up news that is not there (at least not yet).

@@MrMrsCricket Here, also, you are again misunderstanding my point. There is no such thing as mainstream media in India that publishes news in English & Hindi/Urdu. All of the media have different languages considered mainstream media only. Just because 30-35% of the population understands Hindi/Urdu in North India doesn't make it mainstream media. Even within those 30%, only 5-10% of people whose mother tongue is hindi/urdu. My mother tongue is not hindi still I can read and write in hindi but because of that I am also part of those 30% who understands hindi. But I prefer to read news in my mother tongue in newspapers but I also read news in hindi & English. It's not what you think is considered as Indian mainstream media. All journalists you know are only hindi/urdu media journalists like Vikarant Gupta. You don't know journalists who cover cricket news in other languages and have millions of views as well as followers in languages other than Hindi/Urdu. For example, Srikant has a youtube channel very vibrant, and journalists who cover news for cricket are their mother tongues, not English and Hindi. In India, there are more than 500 channels ( across the nation) in different languages and 70000 newspapers publications in 22 languages. Daily consumption of news 100 million copies ( highest in the world)These combined considered mainstream media Regarding media hype, over government is common in every country. It's not something new.

Because No one other than Babar in current pakistan team can achieve that milestone at least for t20 otherwise in ODI & Test I hardly doubt he is gonna achieve the legendary status as Inzamam, or Younus Khan forget Tendulkar, Dravid, Ganguli, Ponting, Virat, Rohit and other international cricket players. He will remain below your own pakistani odi goats. only runs, records don't matter. Indeed, they are complimentary. Important is how effective innings he has played against best teams in their countries in winning cause with good average and strike rate like Tendulkar, Virat, Ponting, Rohit and all goats have played. I haven't seen him playing any effective memorable knock except 2021 World Cup for winning cause not even in Asia Cups in the past few years. Even during 2011 World Cup, when Sachin was in his retirement years, he was the second highest run scorer in the entire tournament, which requires immense talent and pressure handling mindset at age of 39-40. So good luck for him t20 but in ODI, Test I have doubts.

Fair analysis...ODI we see him surpassing but Test I highly doubt it and it is not because of his ability but more because of the amount of time he has been given the opportunity to play Test since Pak as a team has hardly played Test cricket. It is near to impossible and it seems to be the case for most teams these days due to too many leagues being played. Babar has potential but he needs to sharpen. We don't believe in comparing him to anyone for that matter. It is not fair to him or other legends. Everyone have their own caliber and time frame to play with. legends of old time had different rules and different mindset and different opportunities to prove, but today the game itself has changed and keeps changing. The rules keep changing so it is not fair to compare old times with new ones and like that it is not fair to compare cricketers. Beside the runs, the technique matters too and Babar is doing his best to better his game. Not to mention anyone who is a captain of Pak team is always going to be under pressure.

Babar has admitted the short-coming of his team and himself so he has apologized and is not hiding it. the situation with Haris is that he admits he did not do well the problem is that the person who abused him also abused his family in front of his wife. You could see his wife trying to stop haris after what the fan said. According to Imam ul haq, who spoke to haris, the person abusing haris abused his mom and dad. like actual give maa behan gali. anyone would have behaved the same way that haris did. Haris said in his tweet that fans have right to abuse his performance but when it comes to abusing family, anyone will behave that same way. I remember virat was angry too when people started abusing anushka and his new born child. Virat spoke up too so this situation is not any different. you want to abuse the players for their performance, yes do it but don't cross that line and it should stop there.

why make it personal? yesterday Rohit and Virat played at west indies and yet they did not perform their way...want to speak about it again? Babar still performed...the problem with Indian people is that they cannot fathom that a Pakistani batsman can do better...anyways nothing to say to people who cannot fathom someone else performing well. No one is comparing Babar with Virat here but yet people are fools when they do that and not recognize where credit is due.
