Fiat 124 Spider project interior and update
It's been a long time since my last update. Since then, I have a new dash design, new carpet, new dash, console, and radio, and new/refreshed interior trim. The bodywork is also done and the car in primer.

I'm going to be building this cool little 124 and will use this series to document the build. If you're looking for a "how to," this isn't going to be it. Use somebody like Eldest Builds for that. My goal is more to put something out there to stay with the car as a video document of what has been done to the car. Kind of the like the binder of pictures that used to come with some restorations. ...

1756cc was how it started. After the overbore, it's 1831cc.

They came from Amazon. They had mounting flanges I had to cut off and other holes that needed plugging. It was actually more work than I expected, but they fit so well I couldn’t resist. I love that the connections are all hidden. But just about everything on it was a total pain.

Depends on your comfort level with drilling holes and splicing wires. If you’re ok with those operations, it wasn’t too bad. To run things how I did, I had to splice about 6-7 wires to make them longer. That, some loom and a few plastic loops is all there is to it. I got rid of the relays for the emissions stuff which helped a lot.

Man, this looks amazing to me. I looked up for something like this, but I have a Fiat 124 Spider-Abarth 2017 model, and I want to make my engine look like this, but sadly, I'm not a mechanic. But man, this is quite inspiring and looks beautiful!

Where did you get the coolant overflow and the windshield washer fluid tanks from? They look amazing and fit perfectly!

Engine bay looks amazing, i’ve been wanting to do this with mine. Was it difficult tucking all the wires and other stuff? The only thing stopping me from doing it is messing something up with the wiring.
