I watched every Colts snap from this season, here's what I think of Anthony Richardson

anthony richardson was one of my biggest draft crushes ever. The fact he hasn't exaclty panned out yet is a little frustrating, but I'm still holding out hope. I'm sure I'll look back on this video years down the line and laugh at my placement in the frame, but I didn't want to rerecord, lol. The most valuable position in the NFL

sorry for the occasional mic bumps lol. This is a longer version of a video I did a while back on Tik Tok about why I think the interior of the defensive line is the most important position on defense. #football #nfl #defensiveline #defense Follow my Twitter: @/taggartkent Follow my Tik Tok: @/taggartkent
I wouldn’t have known or figured this out without the is video. Thanks!
the refs helped the chiefs draw up the play
Shut up this is getting annoying
Thanks for the insight.
Great video really explained something I don’t see as a casual fan
That was a catchable ball.
Potential get you fired
Colts fan here and that was a well reasoned synopsis. He MUST make some hay out of this fully healthy off-season, finally being able to throw, especially now working with Josh Allen's biometric coach. But muscle memory is hard to change in 8 months and once season starts, the hook could be quicker in year 3. For me, gotta see the ability to make the layups AND play 17 games at least.
🏈🏈
No worries young man ♂️ Ur not the only one! My Commander's have each other's backs!
Even crazier, we have about 93 million in cap space. Free agents will want to play for the Commanders
i heard reek was an option 👀
As a Colts fan, I can say that probably 60%-70% of fans are ready to give up on him. I never wanted to see somebody succeed more, however I also realize he has a long way to go. He has all the tools and I hope we give him atleast 2 more years. Realistically he should have stayed in college another year or 2, but with his background coming up and how hard his mom had to work for them, I understand chasing that bag when you hear you could be a first rounder.
didn't dude quit on a drive?
meh, he was winded, i’m not as bothered as others by that go rangers tho
I would like to see a video on what you noticed about Caleb rookie season and how you think Ben Johnson can maybe help him/ his potential ceiling in nfl
I hate to break it to ya buddy but his ceiling is lower than justin fields. They played better as a team without him.
@ tell me you don’t know ball without telling me you don’t know ball
good idea, i’ll listen
You think we have a chance against the eagles? Heart tells me we could do it but their roster is so much better than our roster and that Philly d is a problem… we just lost our best offensive linemen and the first time we played the eagles That same best offensive linemen was getting walked back to Jayden-the whole line was. Second time we played them we won but ofc Jalen hurts was out and Devonta dropped that pass… It’s tough man I wanna believe we could do it but Idk… Everything would have to go our way…
I personally wouldn't bet on it, but there's always a possibility. To me, it comes down to the commanders defense. If they can hold saquan and make hurts throw the ball, I think yall git a decent shot
Having a winning team and a good leader at Quarterback elevates everyone's game. With SB wins the eagles been there done that recently so it ain't really nothing new to them. But the commanders are amped up for the first time in a long time. players, coaching staff and fans are all pumped up. I think they finna rise to the occasion
Please, for respect for us fans of this team. Call us the Redskins when we were the Redskins. We are the Commanders now but the Redskins won the last Super Bowl. We still sing the fight song that says Redskins till this day.

The Commanders pulled off an upset, but they did not beat the NFL best defense. More than half of the lions defense was injured and they even had to play 3rd stringers.
allow me to exaggerate for dramatic effect.
@ fair lol. Still was an amazing upset
Yeah so i guess all of there wins before that didn't count huh? Yall always got an excuse. They was the number 1 seed right??? RG3 could have made it to the superbowl if he never would have hurt his knee right??? Crybaby 😢 Stop hating on Washington like they didn't earn there wins
@@sindavacat what are you on about? They literally gave the commanders props for getting the upset. But claiming the 20th ranked defense is the number one defense is just a lie 😂
@@krisk3988 What are you talking about Goofy? I literally never said they were the #1 defense. Reading is fundamental. I said that they were the #1 seed so I don't want to hear the excuses period!
I believe it was the game against the bears that when Taylor was getting stuffed at the goaline, he came in and started the push that eventually scored a touchdown. You never see qbs doing the little things he does just to help his team win. Truely a selfless player.
i think u hit alot of notes ive been thinking middle of the field issues stem more from not having a TE he can trust. and the want for the deep ball comes from drops stallinf plays, he def needs to slow down and just trust the offense for sure. and ure right about playcalling, theres was a monumental shift in playcalling, it felt more like a traditional offense in trying to make your reads as a pocket passer. if u look at the offense his rookie year to this season u see motion’s been taken out of the playbook, and like u mentioned rpos. idk if it was bc AR kept it to much rather than handing it off and letting JT get hot, or Steichen trying to do trial by fire and get him to learn what he’s seeing and to make the right reads himself. So much mote help playcalling last year for sure. I believe AR gets alot of unfair critiscm but he has alot he needs to improve on regardless. he’ll come back with alot of poise. i always tried to tell myself dont fall in love with athletic profiles bc it doesnt necessarily translate to good qb play, but there was something very very different about AR in how he processes and the instinct he has when he makes plays in big moments. hes a ball player and u draft ball players
colston loveland will save him
Obviously theres something there, but its not fair to the other 52 guys on the team and everyone else on the staff to keep sending AR out on sundays if next season starts and he still has the "i dont know how to play football or throw a pass accurately" the colts NEED to move on
This is the justin fields effect. Physcally gifted qb that isnt good but wows fans
I don't mind people being wrong on the commanders, what i do mind is any bozo who ever said bo nix is better than jayden daniels....
some people are still saying it LOL
i love when taggyk talks about football

Guys will see this and say hell yeah
hell yea
Same as Justin Fields. Moments of greatness with a lot of issues in between. I hope he figures it out because he could be one of the best if he can round out his game.
Very good video especially for a nrw channel, really great bro.
thank u!!
There is nothing with AR, dude sucks.
As a bills fan that has watched the progression of Allen, you do have to learn how to play consistent football. AR struggles on making the easy plays. You can’t get by on the splash plays, they wind up hurting you a lot more in the long run than helping you.
Honestly this is an incredible breakdown! As a Colts fan nothing made me angrier than Flacco playing poorly, because if Richardson was playing poorly, at least he was getting reps and learning what not to do
Do a video like this on Trevor Lawrence
gooood idea
Well said I think we give him another year... Assuming he is bad we then go after manning
Man i feel the same as you i still believe in him but he needs some work and you got a new subscriber great work!
thank u sir!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Awesome video man. Really intelligent take on AR. Appreciate the time u put in to making this video. Do some more
This film literally just shows how good JD is he is wide open every play at would have had a better year if downs is first option 60% of his throws
The amount of drops from our receiving corp was absolutely ridiculous this year as well...need to bring in an elite tight end like Warren and we will be good to go
Good shit but did you draw your goatee on
LOL.
If you dont give AR until the end of his rookie deal to figure things out you honestly have unrealistic expectations. He has tons of potential but he cant just snap his fingers and be an all pro.
I wish they would go back to how they developed qbs back in the day when the qb sat behind a vet for a few seasons to get developed. These young qbs are talented asl they just need time to develop & get use to the NFL.
Now do this on Aaron Rodgers!
Great video. You earned a sub, bub! 💯🫡
thank us sir!
He is a bust! Super soft!
Josh Allen was a work in progress like AR and look at Josh Allen now so there is definitely scary potential for AR he just needs to be more consistent and work on that footwork
Josh allen was never a work in progress he came in an destroyed the vikings who had the best defense in the nfc at the time with 3 tds in his first start. the colts are not the same team as that bills one was either.
I definitely agree. It’s hard to move past a guy like this for fantasy. I feel like 25 might be his last shot at redemption though, and it might not be a very long leash.
You guys are trying to cope so hard because he’s so bad.
that damned pump fake against the Jets gave him another 6 weeks (next season) in my eyes. an IMMACULATE passing play made primarily possible by incredible QB play. That's my problem with AR, when it's good it's great but when it's bad it's awful. I don't know what to think anymore. He shows flashes of "Hall of Fame QB" followed by the most horrendous INT I've ever watched on live television. Being a Colts' fan is rough, man.
Games are won in the trenches where the big humans rule.
Only one season for the Colts and only one season as a starter for the Florida Gators leaves him as an inexperienced quarterback. Talent will take you far, but learning the game probably counts for something. And since you are fishing for video ideas, and given the nice job you did with AR, how about doing a video rating the quarterbacks available for the 2025 NFL draft. And besides breaking down the pros and cons of those likely to go in the first two rounds, say something about how good of a fit the quarterbacks will be by the teams likely to select them on draft day.
