I just had a really sad Donnie headcanon and now I hate my brain. TW mentions of suicide/suicidal ideation, SH, death, mental health issues . . . . . . . . I just came up with that Donnies had suicidal ideation because at 2:43 Leo says "we only call dibs on pizza, skate ramps and Donnies stuff" which to me makes it seem like thered be a reason Donnie wouldn't need his stuff (ehich my brain immediately goes to death). Futhermore Donnie basically always has his wrists covered (a common spot for SH which is connected to depression and therefore suicide) and autistic people have higher suicide and depression rates, which are even hugher in males. Also I headcanon Donnie as nonbinary and lgbtq+ people are more likely to off themselves. We've also seen in other episodes that Donnie has low self worth to some extent and thinks rhe only reason he's valuable is because of his tech. Not to mention fighting bad guys as a teenager must be mentally taxing and traumatising to some degree. At the end of the day this is just a random headcanon my brain came up with about somw silly turtles running aeound fighting bad guys in a fictional NYC.

Plus the town is a crap hole !! 🕳️ waste land
