Gorillaz - Latin Simone Lyrics [Spanish & English Versions] (Split Audio)
Просмотров 61 тыс.5 лет назад
Spanish in the left channel, English in the right Hi Again! A burst of inspiration hit me, and this happened. It's general knowledge in the fandom that these two versions (Ibrahim and 2D/Damon) are 'talking to eachother' - so I thought I'd do a split audio version! In regards to translating the Spanish version, it is a combination of different translations (that were very similar to one another...
dove é la canzone ?
i’ll never get over how cool this is
Amazing voice on Mr secombe
OH MY GOD THIS GAVE ME CHILLS…. NEVER REALIZED IT SOUNDED THE BEST WHEN BOTH VERSIONS WERE PUT TOGETHER
Wonderful! What genuine talent on show! Thanks for uploading.
I grew up in the 70s-80s , Ron moody never aged a day between the 60s and his death
What a great film. Enjoy forgotten lady on Columbo and looked this up
Class act
Im 2D......
Help....
Thank you for uploading this, my dad worked on this programme as the Designer (you can see his name at 53:36)
I was just 8 years and 4 days old when this aired, but being an American I never saw it till now. Harry Secombe is one hell of a singer! Thanks!
Just one more question...
Thankyou x
I love this video
Columbo lead me here
I don’t get this. But others love it so ❤️ And boy was Janet a FOX!!!!! Yes Columbo sent me as well! 😂 😊
spanish side is the therapist who speaks spanish, but also understands english and english side is the client/patient
I would love to know the origin of Ron Moody's "Everybody loves a ham." I can't find anything about it on the internet. What a terrific piece of acting!
Hi, you got me curious to see if I could find the origin to it too, but I also had no luck...could the intro song be written by Lionel Bart for the show and the monologue simply be one of Moody's own? He was such a talented thespian.
@@Rottinger Very good suggestion!
Thanks for sharing this! Feel so happy to have seen it!
i was born 7/9/1968
I was born 31/05/1968 👍 what a great year.
I do not know the Spanish
Do you know what would have been fun? That the Spanish version has piano and trumpets as instruments, while the English version has the drums and the guitar or The bass, and that you have to Combine the 2 versions to have the complete song
I just assume 2D is having a mental breakdown after becoming bilingual
Dope
I was only 3 in 1968 so too young. However as I got older the film would be shown on TV so I must have been around 8/9 years old In the intervening years (so many) i have watched OLIVER many times. Each time crying 😭😭😭🥲🥲🙏🙏🙏🏴🏴🏴❤️❤️ Harry had a wonderful Opertic voice but hey he was Welsh Not many original cast members alive now
You could be telling my story, I was also three in '68. I saw 'Oliver!' for the first time on TV in the early '70's and then in a theatre when I was thirteen. Always one of my favorite films. I believe Kenneth Cranham (Noah Claypole) is still alive and making films.
@@kennethwayne6857 yes Kenneth is alive -he is 80 in December He has had a good career both films and TV I remember watching him in Shine On Harvey Moon with Linda Robson before she was more famous in Birds of a Feather. Many great actors in SOHM With her best mate Pauline But they have had a big falling out for some time 🏴🏴🏴😀😀👍 👍
Today's young people don't know about Oliver, and they wouldn't like it even though it was a great musical! I've seen the film over 100 times it's terrific!!!!!
Jack Wild was adorable here and he was so talented, so sad he's gone now, what a horrible shame!!!!!
Me too
Look at her hooters.
who would know that she is a killer
Originally sung incomparably by Lee Morse.
Que pasa contigo
In my perspective and as a Spanish speaker, I really love the song and it’s unbelievable what is a Gorillaz song… But I always had in my mind what the Spanish one was like the original. I had never known what the was an English version and honestly I love both versions… But Man, It gave me a slap on the face… How? 2-D’s version sounds like someone who’s crying and broken from both sides. Someone who, whatever tries it doesn’t work and just want to give up on life. Ibrahim’s version is a friend, parent, inside voice or whatever you want to think. Who is trying to make the person to understand that not everything is lost and that for some reason everything happens. But is not an excuse to give up yet, there’s more options and opportunities what we need to take advantage of. It was my comfort song for many days, when I feel badly I listen to the English version. The Spanish version are the words what (for some reason) I want my family to tell me to feel better. Also when I was 16, I thought what the song was like Idk a relief song from Stuart singing this at a bar after he broke up with Paula 😅
It’s like the two voices in my head, one tells me to kill myself, the other tells me not to. Another part of me somewhere is already dead.
I wanna learn Spanish just to make listening to this song better
Gonna turn on mono audio and listen to this 💯💯🔥
Where did you find this?
Janet Leigh did so many great movies, some of the very best are Touch of Evil but also the musicals she did. she danced also with Bob Fosse!!!
I'm being serious when I say I just found this video today and I've played it 5 or 6 times
Columbo brought me here 😊👍
When you put both the spanish and english lyrics side by side it kinda sounds like Ibrahim is 2D’s therapist
I’m definitely going to watch this one but man! I really like Vic Damone’s version of this song. I want to see a video playing along to it so bad! This is the closest I’ll get it seems. We’re lucky enough to have this!
There’s something truly special and harrowing about hearing both versions together, so thank you for this
Donald O'Connor danced and swooned with some very beautiful ladies over the years. All of them would say how absolutely wonderful he was. I think its safe to say, he had the cream of the crop as far as beauty and talent that he partnered with. Maybe an unrecognized lifetime achievement award, but a wonderful legacy he left behind. In my heart, and many others, Donald O'Connor was truly the real deal. There's nothing he couldn't do. Thank you for keeping his memory alive.
We Dance to this song in my club ❤️
Without Columbo, episode "Forgotten Lady", this movie would probably have fallen completely into oblivion.
That is why I came here after watching an episode of Columbo. Not mention a song referenced in the programme called "Speak Low". Thanks Columbo and Katie S for posting.
I've noticed if you listen with earpods headphones the Mexican version is in your right ear and the English is in left..
Small correction: Cuban Version (Because the singer is Cuban XD)
This song is so realetable
Columbo: Forgotten Lady, brought me here. A classic and beautiful era of movies when you could innocently watch films and lose yourself in the story without being "preached" at.
Faye Dunaway, Janet Leigh, Joyce Van Patten and Lindsay Crouse all were murderers on Columbo.
Columbo let her go, this will be the second time Columbo allowed the real killer to go for someone else.. The other was taking Faye Dunaway, instead of her daughter.
Yep!
A man living in America heard that his brother died back at his hometown in Cuba. He falls into depression and starts having suicidal thoughts. His brother's spirit tries to convince him not to do it, but since he's dead, he can't hear him.
Oh that sounds depressing but it sound like the two voices in my head
@@Happyradio1234 Imagine if it was made into a movie or a Broadway musical.
where did you find this movie ?
