Thank God. I've seen so many bad reviews on this . I bought a top race and sent it back for the same reasons you spoke about . Top race says it 20lbs but actually only 13. Ill be getting this on Thursday. Hope everything works great on it.

Does anyone here know when the V3 of this was released and what was changed on that version? I'm currently looking to purchase one and need to make sure I don't buy an older version that's been sat on a shelf for years.

Man, I wish I had waited, done a little more research and got the Rampage. My first "name brand" car after jumping back in to the hobby was fun at first, but ended up being a disappointment. I went with a Mini T 2.0 brushless and now it's sitting in pieces because it looks like the motor seized up for some reason. It's fast and agile, but fragile. After the first run, I lost a shock spring cup, broken control arm after 1 crash, broken front shock tower and servo mounts after another crash, and now this. I thought it was grit that got in the diff or gears stripped, but it appears the motor is fried. Also discontinued so that says something too.

These plans are great, the price is very reasonable and Pedro who made them is awesome. It can get really really expensive to build this, and I don't think $150 is anywhere near realistic once you get into electronics. I suggest buy-once cry-once, as I've wasted a lot of money trying to stay in budget on this. I would budget more than $50 just for fasteners if you're in a non-metric country.

Fck.. was here to watch how u converted it to another reciever. But insted u converted to hydraulic.. I want to use my flysky i6s.. I dont want hydraulic. But i fckn hate the original controller

You don't need the red wire going to the receiver from the esc only black and yellow Then run a small 4.8v battery to power the receiver

its a nice file and design good guy who designed this. I'll get around to building one.
