Good video 😀
ruclips.net/video/DyQJCZh5A8Y/видео.htmlsi=RFeK2QSY4Qr21UCj - Your "Totally Turtles" message aligned well with Sister Bethany's message regarding "sea turtles" from the National Eucharistic Congress! Thank you for sharing the focus on keeping our journey forward, in our turtle shell to protect and strengthen us!
Amen, to allowing God to "wash over us"!
Amen! A good discussion...may we be reminded to ALWAYS be charitable, and ALWAYS choose Jesus' side, avoiding division, especially within our families and the Church!
Howdy. Thanks for the message. Pray for us!
This day’s recap was powerful even for those not walking in the windy rain! Thank you! Ready to walk and see the messages in my everyday stroll!
Congratulations! Thank you for allowing us to experience the Camino with you! Safe travels home!

THANK YOU BOTH!!! I have been seeking/needing to hear what “our resurrection” from the tombs in our lives look like and that as long as we “keep our eyes on God we will be able to walk through it”…hence why I always say “Keep your eyes on the Prize!” I think there are so many people (including me) that need to hear what their resurrection may NOT look like & it’s OK…JUST FOCUS ON GOD! Thanks again!
Excellent message! I feel like I had just seen somewhere this week the phrase about becoming "ambassadors for Christ", and now here YOU are driving the meaning home! Thanks
End of day 16. Dropped after G K Chesterton quote … blank
17 th day hard to understand listened twice
Thanks! I needed that right now...
Amen! Thank you for your PRAYER-ful observations, and especially this last day, on New Year's Eve, when we are particularly raising our own awareness of our temporal nature. As we reflect on the passage of time, today we look backward in observing the good (and bad) of the year that is rapidly slipping away, while HOPEFUL-ly looking forward toward the year to come. I always consider that just as the Christ-child is born in our hearts again this season, so also God has willed us to mark the New Year as a gift for us and an opportunity to improve and change moving forward. PRAYER is so necessary to this reflection, to LISTEN and DISCERN God's plan for us in facing coming year. Your talk on prayer has reminded me about keeping the eternal perspective in mind, that God sees ALL as we often muddy through our many daily tasks, and that our FAITH must guide us lest we lose our way! Happy New Year's Eve, and many thanks to all who assist at the retreat center!
Amen, Amen!!! Thank you!!!
It sounds like an interesting conversation to start on this new book, about the word COVENANT and what it implies/means or not. Considering the usefulness of such a thing, for the typical lay person...oh boy! I mean, it is definitely helpful to take more seriously our spirituality generally, and prayer specifically. But the strong or even essential COMMITMENT of a contract/covenant makes me consider: A) isn't a covenant with God like this THE DIFFERENCE between lay Catholics and our clergy/religious, and B) look at the modern day MESS that so many lay Catholics have made with their SACRAMENTAL 'covenants' already, from their baptismal promises (made for themselves or their children/godchildren), confirmation vows, even the recitation of the Creed and penitential rite at Mass before receiving the Eucharist, and I haven't even gotten to the marriage COVENANT...?
"...sometimes you gotta stare down a giant, worship from the lion's den" calls out some great biblical references to having faith and relying on prayer even in the tough times!... ruclips.net/video/gprrLDCqOUc/видео.htmlsi=gdOQ8QzxYgHiQhK_
"...for though my heart is torn, I WILL PRAISE YOU IN THE STORM!"! Quite a powerful lyric, a true testament of faith...a faith that recognizes who you are, and who God is! ruclips.net/video/MgpaULjZOl8/видео.htmlsi=G6MA_LIlh0xI-GMs

I do like that opening quote, though rather than doing it ALONE, I might say do it ONE-ON-ONE, in RELATIONSHIP (ie in making connections with others, in establishing an intimate connection), and NOT to WAIT, so as to DO IT NOW, get MOVING!
Musical interlude: Make me a channel of Your PEACE; where there is hatred let me bring Your LOVE! Where there is darkness, only LIGHT! And where there's sadness EVER JOY!
Your imagery of the waterfall or fire of God's love into and through your heart and then out to the world is much like Saint Faustina's vision of God's grace and mercy poured out through Christ Himself in the Divine Mercy image!
It strikes me that you are 'reaching out' of your "comfort zone" to this woman, precisely to comfort her/invite intimacy. Maybe calling it our "comfort zone" is exactly what it IS NOT, ie a misnomer! We should contemplate the idea that we might just be BETTER COMFORTED, and MORE SECURE ourselves, if only we went out of our way more to invite intimacy with others!
The surgeon general has declared post the Covid pandemic, and partly noticed and accentuated BECAUSE of the COVID outbreak, the new epidemic in the United States particularly, and the world more generally, ESPECIALLY among the ELDERLY, is LONLINESS. There is none whom needs us so much as companions on their individual faith walks than our seniors, especially those struggling with the transitions affecting their mobility and independence...
It is really quite wonderful, and difficult!, a spiritual challenge to be so detached. For me, I know that detachment from the physical things, like keeping up with the Jones's, collecting items, having the best technology, etc is hard (and never really over, this side of heaven), but the next level of detaching from the wants we have for pleasing others and being accepted, for instance, much MORE challenging! Saint Faustina, pray for my humility in all God asks!
🎉❤
🎉😊
Nice job guys. Where do we find that checklist you mentioned? You ladies are awesome!
Shared to my FB page, and praying for some possible candidates! Especially since COVID times began, so few have had the kind of enlightening experience that a really Catholic retreat can impact on our lived faith!
Wow!
Amen, Amen
Amen, Amen
