Smashing up old electrical appliances in Amsterdam
Просмотров 10714 лет назад
We were in Amsterdam on 7th November 2009 and came across people smashing up old computers and other electrical appliances with giant mallets near Max Euweplein in Amsterdam. Not sure of the reasons behind it, but it looked like great fun.
Saw them live last night. Happy to report that Iain is still being a "Wally" on stage. Brilliant!
Fookin loved this band.
Perverse
Much like Nirvana and their 'Bleach' lp. I love Jesus Jones' 'Liquidizer' lp.
As much as I loved EMF, Jesus Jones were way better
How dare you😂 haha I'm just messing with you. EMF was like a religion to me especially Stigma
@@thomasboston2710 Stigma was a masterpiece, their best work
Charles Hawtree?
'The keyboard player and I'
Hes still handsome ❤
The energy and the guy waving his head around was all we talked about at school next day. Song was great too though
Esta es la banda que influenció a U2 con Achtung Baby. Mis respetos Jesus Jones
Honestly Iain Baker dancing around was flat out awesome, I don't care what anyone (Including him) thinks on the matter. It was great.
Thing is Mile's has never been ugly or uncomfortable to look at in my eyes 😂
Wonderfully honest from Miles as always
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The 'Garbage Stuff' would have been a more appropriate name. Total joke band especially the nob who fronts it. It's like he actually thought he was good. Embarrassing.
whats the name of the famous band that your in like
Yet still played on the radio.
Funny, I thought they looked conspicuously 80's ( Dexy's, Hazy Fantazie, King, Fuzzbox even) compared to their 90's peers.
Hasn't aged well. Dam💯🇬🇧
Wonderful moments...
I was a massive Jesus Jones fan when they released Liquidizer - art college 1988. Then someone in my group of friends knew them and shared their demo tape for the second album. Was full of samples and loops,. scratching etc, no vocals,.all instrumentals and we were really pumped for its release. Then they released Doubt and we were like...nah.
Saw them for Perverse. I love that album so much! So many songs on that were so much better than Right Here Right Now. Hell, so many songs on Doubt are way better than that one! I'll always love Jesus Jones. The ghost of the past has its arms around me. It moves everywhere In all I hear and see
Hup Hup hup
Hugely appreciate this upload. Its great to see them getting some exposure here. They popped up on the One Show talking about their skater links as well a few years ago.
'Dudes :) <3
Ta !
Thank you for posting
Stage presence of keyboard player made that TOTP performance. Classic stuff.
He looked like an absolute prat.
@@Seafarer-Ade How would you act in the 90s whilst on amphetamines performing on TOTP?
Good times
I wont hold the Clintons against the band....

I was right on the corner of that middle section. I almost came IRL when they played 'Bück Dich'. NEVER thought I would see that.
