Our actions are varied: micro-credit, agricultural techniques, training of para-veterinarians, protection of the environment and forests, development of the employment and the handicraft, fair trade, theater-action to promote hygiene and to fight against alcoholism, protection of the forest and plantations...
The programs cover today about 500 villages, 40 of which are in Cambodia. The direct beneficiaries are every year around 170.000: children of the kindergartens and primary schools; women and peasants; very poor families; quilters...

Where can I purchase these roof sheets? What length do they come in? Is there any light penetration through the sheet? Can the length be customised for the job? What is the thickness and width of the sheet? What is measurement between the ridges peaks? This is an amazing product.
Hello. We buy these from the company Đông Tiên in Bình Dương. If you want to order some, ask our team who will direct you to the right people: Ms.Sang 01633152722. I think you can ask for different dimensions. We order 6mm thickness. No light penetration but we are still worried about durability under UV for many years. We are testing outdoor paint / weather shield. An alternative source would be REFORM in Đà Nẵng, ask Jan Zellmann
@@mekongplus thanks, I really appreciate your feedback. If the manufacturer can add Titanium Oxide powder to the process it will give you 10-15 years life without any peeling or surface degradation. I manufacture water tanks and we add this as a sun-block. Painting is very difficult, nothing really sticks to polyethylene plastics over time. Also polyethelene shrinks rapidly after manufature (about 2%), then slowely (1%) over the next year. You may find that if the sheets are new they will pull against the screws over time.
This is from milk bottle waste in TetraPak program, right? So technically it is mostly paper/pulp + aluminum and little plastic?

What do you use as a binder for the different types of plastics in the sheets? or is it only one type of plastic?
Hello. Thanks for connecting with us. We do not make the panels but buy them from a recycling factory 250km away... not optimal! We do not have the capacity to invest in recycling ourselves & our calculations show it would not be economical for us to do it: cheaper to buy the panels. As far as we know (we have limited access to the recycling process) the shredded plastic waste is pressed into a mold for 4 hours at 180 degrees centigrade, with no additives. We are concerned about the durability of the panels, namely with UV exposure. Presently we get a warranty of just 5 years. To try to improve this we try different methods: ordinary oil paint/epoxy coating etc. to see what is best. The panels we buy at 5$/m2. The villagers are extremely cost-sensitive so any addition must be carefully examined. We would love to get technical advice, if you can. Thanks in advance! I am not an expert about plastics but involved in recycling and certainly interested to know what are people doing with post consumer plastics. As far as I understand, different types of plastics cannot blend together so I will assume that those sheets are made of the same type of post-consumer plastics (HDPE or HDPP).
