    Do you know if Guitarlab still supports the G3 & G5? I have one coming. I have a g1 Four which I love, but I should have got the G1X Four instead. I was going to get the G3XN but to my surprise the G3 and G5 have been discontinued and replaced by the g6 and G11

      @ zoom have a pc/Mac software called guitarLab. You plug in via usb into the pc or Mac and you can update the firmware, build patches pretty quick and load them onto the slots you want and rename any patches. It also has the list of all the on board effects and emulators and a description of what they are. I had heard that the g3 and g5 weren’t supported any longer, but I guess I’ll find out shortly 😉

      Hi. Those are button caps I made out if hot glue. I used a bottle cap as a mold and poured hot glue inside. While doing that, a 10mm drill bit was dipped into it to reserve a place for the button. Then removed the mold. The drill bit I used is the samei diameter as the buttons. It is working fine. You can find it on RUclips, it is not m'y original Idea.

      No string lube is made for ANY fretboard…you put it on your strings! You’re missing the direction of this product if you really think it’s not for just Maple!!? You’re not supposed to overuse or get it on your fretboard. The mineral oils and other fragrances in the recipe are safe on metals. Strings are made of metals. It’s NOT for wood at all..tested yes, not to do major damage to fretboards if accidentally touches them, but c’mon man..stop making comments that don’t apply within the Scienceof the product, this will just confuse people..and read your directions if needed before spreading your own thoughts…or at least share your details WHY you are making such a comment…learning guitar is an art and the experienced players need to send out good vibes and great learning leadership to make sure the noobs find their potential. Careful sending and sharing simple thoughts if you don’t have the facts to back it up.

But look at the very first comment under the video : a youtuber posted a comment with a much better solution. Basically you will need a cable or adapter 1 TRS mini jack to 2x TRS mini jack at a dollar store. This adapter duplicates the signal from 1 to 2 connectors. Plug the guitar into the Trio guitar IN. Plug Trio FX send to the GR55 guitar IN Plug the GR55 audio OUT into the Trio FX return Plug the GR55 phones OUT into the adapter. Plug the Trio phones out into the adapter. Plug your headphones (or stereo monitors or else) into the adapter. Trust me, this youtuber has a great idea because it works.

      Thanks for your feedback. My Dunlop 65 bottle lasted 1 year. Daily use, sometimes 2x per day.

      Wenge must be combined with woods such as walnut and cherry, mahagony also, those have great mids and quite alot of bass. From what I know wenge is supposed to have a good bass, but no mids. It is a very percussive material, that's why modern metal players love to use wenge necks. Putting a maple fingerboard on that neck could improve the situation.

    Messy sound as I play on my previous recording. My PC is so old that there is a big delay between audio and video - I will need to upgrade sometime.

    Cool. Good idea! I think i would use first the G5n (1.Znr, 2.Wha, 3.Phaser, 4.Drive, 5/6.Amp, 7.Cab ,8.Exciter, 9.Flanger/Chorus) then the G3 (10.Delay, 11.Rev, 12.Volume). Its a shame the volume pedal to count as a slot... Chees from Portugal 🤘🍺🇵🇹

  • @imoffendedthatyouareoffended

    thanks for this! one questin i have is, it claims it makes the strings last longer, do you feel this is true?

    • @GuitarMusicCapsule
      @GuitarMusicCapsule Год назад

      Hi ! My hands are sweating a lot when i play guitar. So the strings are rusty quickly : after 1 month or so they are completely dead, rusty. They are then eating the frets ! Now after each playing session, i clean the strings with the dunlop product. I can see that the product is removing some rust / dark and brown dust from the strings. The strings are also a little bit with oil. After cleaning, they are not like new. They are still getting dark but not rusty. To me, they are now playable for 2 to 3 months. So yes for me this product is a way to have the string 2x to 3x longer.

      Ok, i have watched those videos. Video1 about playing guitar : 1. Tune the guitar. Yes I will pay attention to that. 2. 'Pushing too hard the strings on the fretboard while fretting'. Definitely this is one of my issues. I learned without a teacher and this is a bad habit to push too hard the strings. I will work on it 3. Setup of the guitar. As i push the strings too hard, i am eating the frets and a setup is now needed to have a good playability. Video 2 about mixing: 4. EQ is important. I will try to add one in my multieffect patches. Other advices are not relevant for me today. I record from my multieffect directly into my laptop. No audio interface. My laptop is from 2009, i got it broken from a trash and i repaired it. It runs on a light Linux environment. I record using Audacity and cannot run complex DAW. In fact i play music with my guitar and I do not want to play with a DAW. So fine tuning a sound with a keyboard and mouse in a DAW is not really possible with my current setup and it is not my goal for now. Thanks for the videos, i have 4 improvement actions to work on.

      @@GuitarMusicCapsule No audio interface? Thats a No No directly into Your laptop..If You have a Windows PC "WASAPI driver mode" Or a Mac".. Or Linux..By Using a External Audio Interface "ASIO driver mode" You Will Have better Recording results than Going directly into Your laptop "Steinberg" designed this format "ASIO" to improve latency performance and channel count compared to Windows Audio drivers. ASIO allows the software to bypass Windows Audio and gives direct communication to the hardware. This is the preferred driver mode for all professional recording and audio applications. Because of the direct communication between the hardware and the software, device sharing between multiple applications is severely limited or not allowed. This means you won’t be able to reliably run more than one program using your interface while your recording software is open.
