Hi Dr Backman, I just recently discovered you and love your work (not sure why I haven't heard from you previously, but it's a good timing! This year is especially tough for me, I've lost 2 most important things in my life, in March my 15 years old dog passed away and last week, I lost my 9 years job!! Since covid started, when I spent more time inside my house I gradually started listening all these "untraditional" videos (away from bunch of dating videos) as myself trying to discover my real purpose on the earth. I've always been interested in UFO stuff since I was young and I often dream about space ships, like sci-fi movies. I'm 46, never married, my reproduction system is all messed up, I can't have a kid, I have IBS, seasonal allergies, and now I have no jobs, moved to California all by myself, in my 46 years of my life, this is the 1st time I start been alone totally all by myself. Thank you for your studies, I feel like I might be an IP soul, but I still don't know my purpose yet, but I started doing fostering dogs in the rescue group, this is the only thing I'm doing to benefit the humanity right now...

I believe many angelic souls have been , first interplanetary in the early days of humanity when earth was first seeded and then chose to be earth based souls then after completing karmic lessons have chosen to stay with humanity. Earth angles can incarnate on earth but are not under the same karmic contract which earth based souls are because they have already completed the archetypal lessons required to gain access to an incarnations with more connection to their higher self and source, because they have chosen to become shepherded of the ascension of earth.

I feel I am earth based soul, an old soul. I am an empath and very intuitive. Most of my friends turn to me for emotional support and guidance. I have quite a few close friends who would be there for me if I ever get sick. And sometimes I am surprised by their generosity to show gratitude for my help because I was simply being myself offering what came to me that might be of help to others, family, friends, and clients. However, there is a way that I feel alone, even though I have very good friends who care about me, because sometimes I see and know things that I know they do not understand or ready for take in. I see how homogenized most people are, following the herd mentality. I would think this would be more of a challenge for IP or AR souls, not earth based souls. Any thoughts?

Why she never told who she was in previous life ?

I’m not sure if I’m angelic I just knew since I was a child I knew of something beside me and around me. I have been told it is my ancestors. But I feel I have had messages from Ascended Masters and Angels

Dr Backman has come up with her own definition of the word "dharma" here. You can take what you like from that, but understand also that "dharma" is a very old concept from the ancient Sanskrit language, and it has a well-established spiritual meaning that is all its own, even if it cannot be translated very easily into English. On first glance I believe Dr Backman has gotten the term mixed up in part with another Sanskrit term: Samskaras. These are karmic tendencies established in other lives that the soul brings with it into this life. Dharma essentially is a different concept that stands separate and distinct from samskaras. The translation "duty" works to a degree, but there is a lot more to the meaning than just duty. Dharma is like a calling from, and for the soul. When we engage in right livelihood that is fitting for our talents, it is said that we are "living our dharma." Our inborn talents can be acquired in a number of ways: They can be a reflection of the type of soul we have, as a reflection or manifestation of one of the 7 Rays to which the soul's energy belongs (Dr Backman has given them a different name other than Ray), or through skills the soul has mastered in other lives, as Dr Backman has indicated here. It's possible to carry skills or talents via your ancestral thread as well, although this of itself would have little to do with Dharma, other than what lessons you choose to draw from it to make part of your soul's enduring expression from this life. When we are living and acting in equanimity, peace, and harmony with our soul's energy and with its essential pattern of being or wholeness, the whole of its existence, then we our living our dharma. I should mention at this point that some of what Dr Backman is talking about appears to find its origin in the channelled work of Alice Bailey. Alice Bailey channelled (translated) many books about the metaphysical universe and the nature of the soul, in the early 20th century, around the time of the founding of the Theosophical Society in California. Each book goes into tremendous detail about its topic. There is a book devoted to psychology from the viewpoint of the soul, books on the different planes of existence, a book devoted entirely to telepathy, another to astrology and many more. These are some of the most encyclopedic books ever written about metaphysics, and many "psychics" in the years since they were written have benefitted greatly from having studied them. This is not to take away from Dr Backman's work, which cannot be duplicated by reading a book. Rather, if you would like to explore precise and clearly presented information about the metaphysical world in all its breadth and depth, exploring at its modern roots, the Alice Bailey collection is the place to go.

FYI, Linda Backman's definition of twin souls and split souls is NOT the same as Twin Flames, who are yin and yang frequencies of the same soul; eternal spiritual counterparts who come into union to form God Consciousness, thus bringing powerful healing consciousness into the world.

The definition of dharma cannot be translated from original Sanskrit to English but it loosely means duty. Skills are talents u bring forth. Duty would be the near exact meaning of dharma. Doing the right Karma that is action and keeping in my mind your duties that you have to fulfill are important.

I discovered during regression therapy that I am a healing angel who has never been reincarnated. The regression therapist and his wife insisted on doing a session with me. because he heard about me through a friend. I didn't want to do it at all at first, but luckily I did it anyway. During the session, many inexplicable things from the past fell into place. During the last regression therapy, 2 seraph angels revealed themselves to me who are my brothers and we form a trinity.
