Half-Life 2 | 1999 Hyper Physgun
So this model leaked a few days ago. It's the earliest known iteration of the Physgun/Gravity gun we've seen dating back all the way to 1999. So from the earliest concept stages of HL2's development.
And since its leak I wanted to make a HL2 mod for it replacing the Gravity gun. I first started with a simple copy and paste onto HL2's vanilla animations which wasn't ideal but was a good proof of concept.
Thankfully The One Epicplayer From the Valve Cut Content Discord server created a custom animation set for use with this model and was generous enough to provide the animation files for anyone who may want to use them.
This mod replaces both the normal Gravity gun and the Supercharged versio...

Really great mashup. My one nitpick is just that it doesn't have the final section of Nuclear Mission jam (and that's just personal preference as I thought it makes you feel so badass when playing (and it wouldn't have worked due to length of Questionable ethics 2))
What else do you know about those 2001 files? I have a lot of skins from version 1.3, including the old version of L8
I have a lot of skins and maps from the 1.1-1.3 times. Some even date back to before the 1.0 release

Yes, I have already tried doing a lot of Half-Life/Black Mesa mashups such as Adrenaline Horror/We've Got Hostiles, Nuclear Mission Jam/Questionable Ethics 2, Diabolical Adrenaline Guitar/Surface Tension 1, and Hard Technology Rock/Forget About Freeman, but I have not posted them on RUclips yet. You could do them too I guess, they didn't sound that bad.

will you make a counterstrike 1.6 collection of weapons that are just the original with their og anims but now right handed?
I'm not sure how the animations would work if the weapon is flipped.. You'll need all the animations to be redone in order for that to work without looking goofy
