have you heard what an atrocious sound it makes when you smack it like that when running through amps..? What's the point in randomly doing what he thinks is a flex, for no reason that sounds horrible. Do what he likes to his guitar, but prefer if I went to pay to see him I wouldn't have to listen to shit. And see an idiot caveman smash his guitar cause he thinks he's cool.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm genuinely surprised by Adam here. He's definitely proficient/skilled with the guitar. Listen to his solo during his Purple Rain performance, he knows how to play the guitar (better than most wannabe metal guitarists). He's no John Mayer or Jimi Hendrix by any means, but he can handle is own pretty well so I'll give him props for that.
Even Prince is much better guitar player than Levine.
You have videos of what I assume is you playing your guitar? (I checked because your profile looked like you were playing one) And you still watched this and thought he was proficient / skilled? I don't doubt he can play some chords and knows a scale or two, but here he's just making noise. The Purple Rain solo I saw looked like he wasn't playing it, his fingers didn't match the notes at least, making slides but not hearing them etc. To me he looks like someone who thinks it's cool or thinks it makes him sound more like a musician but I don't think he's particularly good.
