Is this universal across other BD chargers? My second battery is not charging, started off no LED at all. Left it plugged in and now the LED is blinking slow and the LED isn't as bright as the other battery that has a solid red LED on the charger.

Can you use an 18V dc power supply instead?

This is pathetic, this should not be done, you are forcing voltage on damaged cells, you are misleading many people, this battery will not be like new, it is simply still damaged and after using it in a tool it will still not work

I have a brand new dyson gen 5 detect that wouldn't clear the blockage fault after sucking onto a rubber matt and pulsating. The fault was cleared by putting it on charge for 15 min or so.

I have 2 unused but old 18v batteries. Both were showing as dead. Following this video, I used another 18v battery to reset the B&Ds. So happy that this fix works. A brilliant discovery. Thank you.

Same winding backwards solved problem heard if have this problem probably feeding gear is broken and best is changing head.But this solution worked on my double line head.Thanks again:)

what about if its flashing green and red. because mine seems to have the two large green lights and the small red temperature light flashing rapidly

I opened up my trimmer because it only works in short bursts when pulling the trigger. I thought maybe it was slipping off the red button inside. As it turns out, when I push the red button that is on the circuit board I get the same result: motor spins for about a second, then stops, push button again, with same result(s). What do you think it could be? thanks!
