Can you beat Fallout: New Vegas while twitch chat controls the world and many aspects?! .. N-no not really. Twitch chat is a mean and chaotic god as it turns out.
Anyways this is from a stream a few months ago where I wanted to do a crowd control New Vegas but at the time of the stream there was no official New Vegas Crowd control ... so Vex came through and created one for the stream. The results are ... chaotic. Although I think I did technically beat the game! Chat can do things like spawn diff...

Hello there! We created a thing that allows twitch chat to have control of a lot of functions within windows 98. As you can imagine, it's probably one of the worst ideas you can possibly do. Vex is God.
Most of that one week was just me fighting Windows, lol. The thing is composed of a FNV mod and a simple HTTP server (originally in Python, but later rewritten in C#) that SAMMI can send requests to, which then writes a console command onto a text file that the mod reads from, and then deletes it. It was a super basic solution and pretty specific to Rich's setup, but it works! Plus it has the advantage of working on Linux too, if you're one of the 7 people who play FNV on Linux.

Funny enough in last night's stream, we did actually have AOL on our current test machine. Granted it's limited on what we can do with the AOL private server that currently exists :3
