I would not visit there if you paid me. I snowbird between cebu and Florida. When I come to cebu, I avoid going where there are large concentrations of expats. The Philippines does not get the best and brightest from the US.

Your content is very interesting and your narration is very documentary like. And I agree with you. I find the Philippines an expensive place. I am from the veggie capital of the Country and I find the vegetable produce like broccoli, cabbage ,peas , beans, potatoes etc pricey compared to UK . Still, it is my home town. And home is where the heart is.

What a beautiful city. Thank you for the historical tour and narration. I was going to ask why you left this beautiful country but your explanation of your friend's lives compared to your "nutty" life is perfect. You choose to live happily in the present and the now rather than what society says you're supposed to do. When your friends reach their golden years, maybe unhappily, after there are no more bigger cars to buy or no more bigger apartment to upgrade to, they'll realize why you chose this path. Frankly, that is why I watch videos of westerners living their dream lives in other countries, because I wish I could jump off the proverbial rat-race wheel and live as I want to. Russia is a beautiful and a very rich country because of oil. I have 3 siblings there in moscow. Hopefully one day i can go visit them . Im just not sure if Canadians are welcome there since Putin doesnt like Canada. St Petersburg is gorgeous! My sister did the sky diving , it was hilarious! I would like to try it in moscow.

I'm 56, no wife nor child, I finished my Master's degree in Engineering, alongside with my work as researcher, I continued my passion in music, in which before I graduated college in 2000, it caused me to drop out of college for a total of 15 years just to master lead guitar and songwriting. It was a life not wasted as I have written 60 original compositions. Now. I'm investing on my own music home recording studio for the dream to record all my songs and publish them someday. Life is driven by the passion you discovered you are most capable of. Any lesser dream than that is a way off track the mission you are called for.

10 years from now Russia is going to suffer economically because of world regulations against Russia.No export and import allowed.Russia"s economy is going to collapse like Cuba or East Germany before . China's economy is collapsing because some Western Company left.Although they're not restricted yet unless we put embargo on them.Russian are cool people ,but sad to see that country declined someday because of Putin

Where is home on this planet? I found out long ago it’s where you feel alive ( going about with a strong sense of purpose, love, meaning and appreciation) wherever that may be in any given point in time. I too felt alienated at some point in my country of birth after having been away for so long. Great video, your hometown is beautiful but your message more so (and timely on a personal level) 😍.
