The purpose of this channel is for all people to encounter Jesus Christ and be drawn to life in the Catholic Church. The videos posted here include the weekly Sunday Mass (livestreamed), content that explains the Catholic faith, inspiration for prayer, and other topics related to Christianity. In our homilies and other videos we frequently talk about the Catholic Mass, the Eucharist, Confession, the lives of saints, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and questions that people have about Jesus and the Catholic faith. We even livestream special events and liturgies in our church.
Celebrating the first 55 years of our church

Sadly it's the protestant Novos Ordo
❤
I only praise to my LORD & SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! Thank you FATHER GOD, JESUS CHRIST, and HOLY SPIRIT!!! I love Ark Angel Michael, Gabriel & all of GOD’s heavenly hosts but GOD IS NUMBER ONE!!!
Archangel Michael is created by God to protect us and prays for us there is nothing wrong with asking him to pray for you. My friend stop being toxic Christian and embrace the communion of saints
I am trying to learn the prayer in Latin . it will take time as it’s not easy but shall be done.
Ain’t the Trump dance
He has the spirit of Jesus in his soul!😃
I don’t enjoy the contemporary architecture and art in this church
He's got the love of Jesus down in his heart to stay.
Every thing better with good vibes. Fun video Thx
Grateful for this documentation Thank you
First heard this story from Doctor Who
When Jesus died he died for our sins so why do we need the Catholic priest or the pope to forgive our sins when Jesus has died for our sins in my opinion the pope is the Antichrist
And who has the power to forgive the sins of the priest and the Pope? !!!!
Priests go to other priests for confession, and the pope goes to a priest as well.
@FatherScottBailey see that's what the problem is you have sinners forgiving sinners no human being has the right to forgive somebody else's sin only Jesus
@@78fordtruck4In John 20-22-23, Jesus gave the Holy Spirit to the apostles and told them to forgive the sins of other people. He said, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained." Jesus gave those men the ability to forgive the sins of others. Even so, the Catholic Church does not teach that priests are the ones forgiving sins in confession by their own power. We believe that Jesus is the one giving forgiveness through the priest.
You should do a video about the Eucharistic Prayers. Why are there six? What are the differences? And why is one said in one week and the next week another one is said?
Thanks for the suggestion! We will give that some consideration. To briefly answer your last question, the priest has the freedom to choose the Eucharistic Prayer that he wants to do in a given Mass. Some priests prefer to use different ones at different Masses, some priests have a favorite that they use most of the time, and sometimes a priest might choose a shorter one because of time constraints (for a daily Mass for people on their lunch break, for example). Every priest would probably give a different answer for how he chooses the Eucharistic Prayer for a particular Mass.
@@RisenChristDenver Oh, okay. I didn't know that. I was just curious because I noticed Fr. Htut used Prayer #3 last week, and yesterday Fr. Scott used Prayer #2.
God, thank you for goodness and gracefulness and for your thankfulness and gratefulness and for laughter and merriment and thank you for the sons of God and for the women of God and for the children of God. Thank you God for salvations and cheerfulness and for your mighty hand over us. Today, I pray for a blessed and a hopeful and a happy thanksgiving and holiday season each and every year In Jesus mighty name. Amen 🙏 Amen 🙏 and Amen 🙏
Why celebrate a last supper why not celebrate Jesus resurrected he said it is finished! Also do this in remembrance of me to remember is just that bring back a piece of information into your mind. Yes he said this is my body and blood do this in remembrance of me. He did not establish what that would look like afterwards so to reflect on his body and blood sacrifice is also in my opinion acceptable
I feel🙏👍👍👍 blessed to have come upon this video.. What a gifted priest. An open and excellent presentation of the catholic mass for anyone to understand and appreciate .. Bravo
How do you pray the luminous mysteries through the eyes of Mary? She wasn’t present during the Transfiguration or the Last Supper?
Great question! When John Paul II introduced the luminous mysteries in the document called Rosarium Virginis Mariae, he answered this exact question in paragraph 21. He says... In these mysteries, apart from the miracle at Cana, the presence of Mary remains in the background. The Gospels make only the briefest reference to her occasional presence at one moment or other during the preaching of Jesus (cf. Mk 3:31-5; Jn 2:12), and they give no indication that she was present at the Last Supper and the institution of the Eucharist. Yet the role she assumed at Cana in some way accompanies Christ throughout his ministry. The revelation made directly by the Father at the Baptism in the Jordan and echoed by John the Baptist is placed upon Mary's lips at Cana, and it becomes the great maternal counsel which Mary addresses to the Church of every age: “Do whatever he tells you” (Jn 2:5). This counsel is a fitting introduction to the words and signs of Christ's public ministry and it forms the Marian foundation of all the “mysteries of light”.
@ Wow, thank you for the response. Very informative. God bless you.
I was always taught that you turn to the cross and bow and make the sing of the cross during the procession. The cross signifies Jesus entering the church. Why would we not turn to him and greet him accordingly..? We also bow as the holy book and the priest walk by then turn to the front as they go up to the alter.
I was emotionally and financially hurt by taking out a massive car loan after i graduated college. Should it be made illegal to take out a loan from the bank because some individuals regret their loans….. some women will regret their abortions and some women won’t. Living in a free society means making choices some of which people may regret.

Great points Father
Thank you Lord Jesus 🙏 Amen ❤
Thank you Father.
I like the st. Dominican socks because I serve at a dominican church!
I grew up in the Church of Christ and am a devout Protestant. I am going to my second Mass, my first one was for a friend of mine, he invited me to his Confirmation. And I went but was very confused. Nearly 10 years later I’m going again. But in the last couple of years, I have gained a lot of respect for Catholics and the Catholic Church. I have began to recognize that while we have some differences in traditions of the church, we believe the same thing. We are believers of Jesus Christ, and that he died for our sins, and rose to Heaven, He is the Savior that conquered Death and is the redeemer of mankind. And I have recognized that understanding the different belief systems is very influential in ministry to the lost, so many people carry church hurt especially, but it’s only through the Grace of God that there can be Peace. God bless you all in your Journey of Faith with Jesus.
Ahhh yes pray to a human women and gods angels. Not like god specifically told us not to do that or anything lol
That's awesome

Is penance for me and my good … or is it seen as a work to help me gain favor with God. Thus, grace plus works. The grace of God that forgives me and my work to confess and repent and turn back and around towards God. This initial act of penance gets me started! And do I choose the penance or does the priest/church - or my spiritual director - assign that to me?
I was born into a catholic .at point in time l left and went to a pentecostal church .after 20 years return Bach home and l feel at home and more happier ❤
Wonderful! Welcome back!
Thank you for this video. I’ve been considering attending a Catholic Church recently but know absolutely nothing about it. Your video did justice for me. Thank you.
That's great to hear! Thank you. Blessings to you!
Listen: If a big war breaks out soon: Don't look at it through eyes of terror or of fright. No one has the power to destroy or the ability to destroy Earth, It was and is always not in man's hands ever allowable. Look at any war or threat of war and know that you are safe within Jesus's protection, You will find yourself less affected by the current events unfolding.

From a protestant family to now waiting for my baptism in the Catholic Church.
You've been on a journey! Praise God for your YES to where He has led you.
Good job father, I moved in May and I sure miss risen Christ and I watch mass every Saturday hope you could do a daily mass one day ❤
We're so glad that you keep watching, even though you can't be in here in person! Many blessings to you! -Fr. Scott
Repentance is always an option! Love this.
You made perfect sense. It isnt something to be proud of. I applaud your courage coming forth and sharing. You feel remorse because of a moral compass. I worked with 2 women years ago who used abortion as birth control. One of them was 24 and already aborted twice. I was appalled. People think that doesnt happen but it does. God bless you.
Hello from NY Fr Scott. I aborted after a rape and would love for you to pray for me. I've never heard of any pressure to be proud of it. In fact, women actually feel extremely emotional afterwards. I'm happy you mentioned this topic without sounding judgemental. This type of video will make women comfortable coming forward to confess their sin. I hope I made sense. Talk soon
Thank you for sharing that, Yvonne. We will absolutely pray for you! May the Lord give you peace and draw you close to Himself. -Fr. Scott
Thank you so much. Very helpful. I have been attending mass and did not understand the process
Hey there! What is the painting in the background? It’s so beautiful. 😊
That's a great question! It is a painting by Eugene Burnand depicting John and Peter running to Jesus' empty tomb.
@@RisenChristDenverthank you!
Hello Father and RUclips people, I am the person who missed Mass, for 30, years. But, I had to go back! I still feel like a stranger, in The House of God. Because It has become an entirely, new community. The words, the faces, are all foreign to me. Though, things are now different to me. The Word of God, hasn't. *** During Mass,*** I don't receive Jesus's, warmth presents in my body, like I use too. When I take Communion, I feel like I am in Surgery! I know that Jesus is doing something to me. While my time away from Church. I tend to ask Jesus, questions (in my head /through my soul,) But Then, to hear the very answers to my questions... coming out of the mouths, of the Deacon's, or Priest's through a Gospel, reading.... (amen) Jesus, is taking me some place. But, He's not letting me see, where he is taking me. I trust him, I will go, and learn. ( I wanted to bring everyone here') up to date with me.
Thank you for this. I am Mormon and got invited to Mass this week. I have been really anxious about doing the wrong thing and this really soothed my turmoil.
We are so glad that this was helpful for you! May you have a wonderful experience going to Mass for the first time!
Thanks Fr. Paul and Deacon Tom! I have a question, the two gentlemen that read both had beautiful cross necklaces identical, is there a special meaning to them? Just wondering. Thanks!🙏🙏🙏
We just have medallions that readers can wear to signify that they're reading at that Mass. The image is a cross with an open book.
@@RisenChristDenver Thank-you, they are beautiful! 🙏🙏🙏
