Thanks for the good footage im actually a decendant of burton pynsent n hope to be visiting monument for the first time in a few months from Australia.

A delightful video filled with recollections/memories for this expat. I recall fondly the early 60's when our family spent last/first June/July weeks here. I've never forgotten the memories of Barton Hall Chalet and Caravan Park. Our travels in and around the area of Paignton, Babbacombe, Torquay. The drone footage brought back many memories, though sadly specific recognition not as much. Clearly lots has changed, perhaps when wondering what to do and where to go I should take a nostalgic visit back and create a few new memories.

Brilliant work and have a great christmas when it comes.

The building on the left right at the start is the Metropole hotel. My gran used to live there when she gave up her home. I learned to swim at Butlins. There was a rooftop roller coaster which failed to navigate the bend IIRC. The station is at the end of the line on which the Beatles filmed a Hard Day's Night. I watched their train go by.
