I don’t think this ever took off. But, the idea would be simple enough to 3d print a frame tha you screw/pop-rivet in place.

I'm surprised you could get the bottle in, and out. My tank is a ninja 650 and the hole is about 3 inches wide and 1 inch high
Both my bikes tanks have the steel tube or neck or collar on the inside running down into the tank about 2" maybe from the filler mouth. It's doing my nut in

Use a bigger water bottle they come in all shapes and sizes

There's another video where a guy used a small tire tube. He split it and sealed the ends, so it was a sausage shape. Worked slick.

I made a HARD TOP out of alluminum and metal and welded it to the miata. It is a permanent hard top . Will cut in summer . Then weld again in winter. Beating the elements . LOVING THE MIDDLE FINGERS I GET ON THE ROAD BY MIATA LOVERS.
