Lego Hi-Chew Candy Machine
Просмотров 3 тыс.6 месяцев назад
Thanks For Watching! I've always been a big fan of machines with a single rotation for each round as I think it makes more sense from a usability standpoint. That being said, this machine's mechanism is slightly more intricate than it probably needs to be, but I had a lot of fun making it nonetheless. Let me know if you have any suggestions for future machines.

Thanks for Watching! This machine features 7 rounds of smarties and dispenses a dime as change. It also has coin rejection and features a locking mechanism that, I believe, was originally created by Jacob Conway.
How to Build a Working Mini Lego Tic-Tac Candy Machine
Просмотров 6 тыс.2 года назад
Thank you for Watching! Troubleshooting: 1) Why does the machine not dispense the Tic-tacs? If the mechanism piece is not moving a full two bricks, the Tic-tac will not move fully over the hole to be dispensed. To fix this, reduce friction by relieving the pressure of bricks above the mechanism, and by separating the 'wheel' and axl pieces. Turning the wheel fast can help free the bricks causin...

The design and mechanism were done so neatly. Great job!
Thank you!
Cool build!
Thanks!
Nice to see you posting again G!
What a design
i'm gonna sub
No way only few subs
Wow, that's a really nice mechanism! I remember the two-option machine I built years ago was pretty clunky, and the option slider was pretty hard to move, but this one looks really smooth! Using technic pieces for that was pretty smart haha. Glad to have you back man!!
thank you!
Love the mechanism and clean design! Well done on this machine
thank you!
Nice! Good to see you’re back!
Very nice compact machine! Well done!!
Nice to see you back!

Amazing machine.

Awesome! Great video!
That is a very compact design. How did you fit that in such a tiny machine! Nice job!
The locking coin mechanism I used serves as an easy way to reduce the total amount of studs the mechanism has to move (in order to unlock the machine). Meaning, a smaller baseplate can be used.
@@legogc3557 smart
cool design.
Since I am in AUSTRALIA, I thought that our $2 coin was the closest, just by 1.21 mm, is that good enough? Also, where do you put the tictacs? Cheers!
Hello! I show how to reload at minute 37:57. Also, I go more in depth showing the mechanism in the operational video that was posted before this one. All coins need to be smaller than 3-studs, and weigh ‘enough’ to push the bar down. I would just test different coins to see which works best! Lmk if you have any more questions.
@@legogc3557 thanks!
cool design.

Great video!!
Hey Grayson! Wow, it's been quite a few years since we last talked. I'm so glad you've started uploading again, all my memories building Lego machines are flooding back 😂. I wish I still had that passion for Lego that I once did, but I'm afraid I've grown out of it now sadly. I do still have my Lego collection on hand, so I might explore it again sometime in the future if my intrigue is rekindled one day. Anyways, this machine is awesome!! Love the rack and pinion system, it's always been a favorite of mine (although I barely had any Lego technic haha). I look forward to seeing your future machines, and I'm so glad you're back with these epic machines!! In the meantime, I'm gonna go binge the other videos I've missed :P Cheers, Z Bricks
Also, what happened to your old videos? I remember there being much more machines uploaded here. Hopefully they haven't been deleted :((
Yes it has! I was actually just watching back our collab video on your channel for the mems haha. I honestly just never really grew out of this hobby, and love to revisit it every once in a while. Also, I did private some videos on my channel that made me cringe haha. They aren’t deleted, but a lot of them were not the most reliable as well.
Nice video it’s crazy how you can make those
Thanks!
nice vid
Nice design and machine!
Love the simple and classic design, and the mechanism is quite unique :))
Great to see a new machine! Did you private a bunch of videos?
Thanks! And Yeah I made private a bunch of videos I wasn’t super proud of.
