Thank you for this. I had graduated with a PhD in chemistry, so I thought it’d be much easier for me to get a job, which was pride. I was able to do an internship, but it was a contract for 6 months, which was great. Now that the contract has ended, I’ve been having some difficulty landing a job. I’ve even soured on the scientific community after learning about some of the nefarious things well known scientific companies do (learned about a lot of it during my internship). So right now, I do feel a bit lost on what to do with my life. I do want to start a business that glorifies the Lord, but right now, I don’t know what kind of business. I know He has plans for me in my life so I try to not feel discouraged.

I’m a woman in my late 20s, struggling with unemployment and loneliness. For the past two years, I’ve been crying on and off every week, but nothing seems to change. I want to believe in God the way I did when I was a little girl, but it feels so difficult now. I feel heartbroken for myself. Amen but everything you said was about sanctification/growth not salvation or how to be born again. The gospel that SAVES is 1 Cor 15-1-4 "1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" Jesus Christ has already forgiven us through his blood washing away ALL sins (past present and future) and we accept his forgiveness, his FREE GIFT, through trusting in what He said He did, HE DID. Eph 2:8-9 No work of our own will ever save us or keep us saved. The nanosecond we trust Jesus took our hell punishment away from us we're SAVED, BORN AGAIN, sealed with the Holy Spirit, and made right with God. Eph 1:13-14, Titus 3:5. Salvation is not a process it is a one-time event and is something we MUST do which is done by having FAITH in him. Sanctification/growth is a process and is something we SHOULD do, and we do it by abiding in him. Discipleship is not a part of salvation it is a part of sanctification. And if someone does not grow at all in their faith, they're still saved. Rom 4:5

I love the our Father prayer. My Motha disciplined us to pray this whenever we would sleep and its always the go-to. The bible says to shut the door and pray in secret and he will reward you, for he knows what u ask before u even ask for it.

Prayer works. I prayed for what I thought was my soul mate. It was a disaster. I thought he was everything I wanted but he was not and I was not mature or patient enough to process him being his own person, with his own desires, and not this imagination I formed in my head. It was a disaster and now I put my faith in God and not man and I see everyone as human and don't idolize them anymore 😅

So basically I started getting closer to God again few days ago,it was the day before Orthodox Christmas and I just started seeing videos popping up about Jesus and God,I thought and still think that's the sign from the God directly to me,I prayed that my family and friends will start turning to Jesus and God and I can see that that prayer will be answered since one of my friends is trying to get closer and he told me it is hard for he cuz he falls back in the sinful things so I always say to him man it's alright nobody is perfect(but Jesus and God),we will always fall back in the sin and sadly that's the part of our life these days...I said to him man get right with God and everything will come you know man,and he said that he will try(convo was yesterday) and man I really hope he will(He also has problems mentally,his father is in institue for insanity since he was born so he basically grew up with his mother and older brother,he tried to commit su*cide few times and I was there for him,he didn't do it because of me,I wish him to get closer to God and start living life normally...)

Yeah, you're right.... Intercessory prayers are really effective, I can totally attest to that. I actually wrote a list of all the people I've ever prayed for, along with the testimonies of how God stepped in and changed their hearts. I occasionally go over the list n get goosebumps every time I read it... Another prayer that gets answered quickly is when you ask God to remove people from your life who weren’t sent by him
