Culture, what we be doing, shapes how we dress and there is alot of structure to caribbean culture and fashion and i recently have observed the little attempts to blur the lines of dresscode in caribbean events/ parties. We commit to our staples and i think the idea of 'I love to dress up but nowhere to go' is so redundant recently. but i think it's interesting cause is there space to 'dress' for a boatride? A fete? perhaps a brunch, yes a dinner, but is our culture holding us back or are we just scared? Definitely more so for women than men? If you ever wanna discuss that, i think it'd be interesting topic for you.

I'm just at the beginning of the video so I don't know if you mentioned it but Tite Kubo actually wanted to do fashion before deciding to go into drawing mangas, he put a point into giving his characters as many cool and diverse outfit as he could. If you look at mangas usually the characters keep the same outfits, some mangaka will go out of their way to show the characters out of their uniform (if they are in school or allways wear the same thing) and tite kubo is one of them, even on the covers of the manga and the covers he did for the jump, and some other art his characters allways have some different and cool outfits. It's reallyt reminiscent of early attachment or simply 2000s japanese fashion usually. He has said multiple time he wanted to do a manga more focused on fashion but I think his tanto denies the idea everytime 😂

i thought off white was a play on pyrex vision his previous brand, which is about making crack. off white is the crack the pyrex vision was for. i think virgil might have made up that explanation later to be more pc instead of "yeah my brand name is about the drug that helps destroy my community" lol

If you search for Guidi 310 you will see they are completely different boots. The one you said is a 310 is actually a PL9.
