I have a 2000 Corolla and I bought a 1999 motor and I’m replacing the interior head of the motor from the old one to the new one is it going to work??
good ol garage workout. nice
IF YOU HAVE JESUS YOU HAVE IT ALL!
Just got done working out that meth straw ... Got a good drain lol
👍💪
Love the full size bathroom. What size is the house?
Nice 👌 💛
Cool space! Definitely some time in all the little details. Where do you put the water heater?
Did the wip sensor come separate ?
Love old school and love your work 👌
Nice its still going, Ive got my grandfathers one in the back of the shed, ancient piece of gear, still goes, will flick you a picture sometime.
As far as the intake goes, you don’t necessarily need more room, just a smooth flow. I’m doing my 2012 soon just for the grind heater bolt issue. Thanks for the video.
👍💪
Hello prochargedmopar, how are you, i found you on dave teaches fx member channel, i need your help please.
Was this an updated video from the one where you drilled out the side and ruined that other test block? i ordered that book you showed in that video too. mopar performance 1978, did you do the crossover tube up in the lifter gallery also? almost ready to put my build together, got a 6000 rpm hydraulic roller lifter and cam set up, and high performance aluminum heads, on a 30 over la 360, might upgrade to a higher rpm cam later, just trying to keep the mains from burning up like ive been seeing at higher rpms, thanks for videos
The block I plan to use now already has the holes enlarged. I added the crossover tube to it. Got sidetracked on other projects and life. 😂 Yesterday pulled a 97 4x4 Dakota into the garage. Have to yank the 5.2 and take to my nephew then plan to install a 5.9 magnum. Will use the china crosswind, sniper efi, and elec distributor for spark. Keeping it simple. Turbo and hood stack once all the bugs are ironed out.
WHAT IS THE SENSOR IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF THE INTAKE PLENUM AND HOW DID YOU MOUNT IT THERE. I HAVE A SENSOR TAPPED INTO THE HORN JUST OFF THE OIL MOUNT AND AM LOOKING TO DO SOMETHING SIMLAR AS TO WHAT YOU DID HERE.
It's a boost pressure sensor. I have a 3 in 1 EGT/Trans Temp/Boost gauge on the pillar. (Glow Shift)
Aww yea! Works good on factory Honda rotor screws that (and I'm assuming it was the factory) are literally welded in place! Mine's a pilot arc, so I don't have to scratch-start which helps, but about a half second blast and the head of those screws will pop off and you're free to replace the rotor leaving out those screws as the lug nuts are what holds it on anyway... :)
I think im having the same issues with my Impala. It runs right for about 15 minutes, then shuts off and wont run right until its cool.
How come you didn’t show how you took the torq converter off that was the hole point you didn’t show how you got one bolt out of it genius
Nice old saw. I like the old things that still run. Thanks for sharing. Great job on the camera. Take care, Ed.
Thank You
I am working on it now and having trouble unhooking all the wires. and getting that box off my cowl to get out the way.
Regular wrench got to the back fuel line ok? Seen people taking off the engine hoist bracket back there for more room. Gonna be doing this project this weekend. Can’t wait!
I think so, been a while. I did end up taking off the bracket during the head gasket install. Must have put it back on if it was there.
Did you clean that fuel rail after all?
Not sure what you are asking. Fuel rail was covered up/protected from dirt. Might have blown it out or squirted some cleaner through it. Can't remember. Been on a couple vacations since with 0 trouble.
93 mag 360 has port for oiling la heads
LMAO Grandpa looks so proud in the background watching his saw in action.
Nice
👍💪
had Fram boss back then ,it would eat wood, rpms were high
👍💪
how many pounds was that kettle bell?
62, a little lightweight action between christmas cookies and holiday cheer. 😂
@@TheProchargedmopar that's still damn good standing up like that in one hand. I made a kettlebell out of 3/4 galvanized pipe a tee and a floor flange that I could load with plates so only swings but it can safely hold 200. Doubles as a loading pin.
@@Kentaur... Yup 👍, I got a couple of those too I built way back (boit 15 yrs ago) before I ever bought bells. Good stuff 😎
LOL love you Dave´s background sound bro
Did you disconnect the intake heater relay? Any check engine lights?
I removed the high amp wires that go from battery, to relay, and what use to go to the grid heater. I did not mess with the control power wires that go to the relay itself. No check engine lights even though it has been in the upper 20s low 30s this past week.
P2609 shows up when I start in cold days, but not always. Have to clear it with MM3.
@@dmtycn I'm running a MiniMax tune and it doesn't pop a code for me.
@@TheProchargedmopar is it a custom tune in the mini maxx or just one of the default one it comes with?
@@jakehartman710 I was told it was a "admin tune" but I believe it was set to default delete/stock tune. Runs like a champ and gets great mileage so not sure. EGT's stay well below 1k when pulling camper. NO SMOKE EVER even when trying. LOL
was that a spider?
Go through all this work and don't know the real reason for modified oil system, the drivers side lifter valley is only oiled off the number one mail bearing, that's what feeds the number one rod bearing, many have spun number one rod because of this, with your oil mod I would have left the plug out to get more oil into the front main, in my 340 we are going to drill the middle mains up to the lifter valley on the side we're it's not drilled out, so they all look like the front main, stay strong, I do think your mod would work fine, just more than one way to skin a cat
Omg!! I can’t believe I found this. I remember I ran the mile at that exact meet in Aledo TX and I met Chris. Very cool and chill dude, he was a legend! How is he doing now a days?!
He's doing great. His wife is about to have their first baby in a couple months. You guys are all grown up now. LOL
INCREDIBLE! I’m glad he’s doing well I kept in touch with him after high school for a bit and he even came over to play basketball, I live in white settlement my real name is Jeffrey Muniz. I hope he remembers me! When he used to live near the old birdville stadium I believe I used to go run with him at the track! I was in awe by how quick he was even AFTER HIGH SCHOOL! Like a rocket ship naturally engraved in him. He’s a unique person I’m honored I got to meet. Is he still at GreenBay Packaging? But thanks again for keeping these videos alive! True staple to some great talent!
@@johnappleseed9290 He works with his Father-in-Law in a construction business. Granbury Tx. I'll let him know you replied next time I see him. ✌
Cool video neat truck! I see you are called procharged mopar. I was looking for info on what happens if i dyno my 572 blown hemi with enderle bug catcher and holley HP2 with an 02 sensor and TTI 4 into 1 headers, to establish a tune, then when i put it in my dragster can i run the Zoomie headers with no o2? Just tuning with a laptop? My concern is that if i run an o2 of some kind, one fouled plug on that side would then see rich and lean the whole motor under boost! Baaaad! Holey tech no use. Thanks
I would get advice from an actual tuner. I think they limit the amount it can change once you have base tune dialed in. Also you would still want safety cut outs for low fuel pressure, extreme AFRa, etc. Steve Morris reads plugs as his final determinate of tune. 👍
BTW, Gave the truck to my 19yo son. I just rebuilt the C6 for him. Video on the channel.
I like your MT4 ;)
Haha, been watching those little ticks wiggle around since 2008. 🥹
Nice job!
You got roostered!
Command center is a piece of crap. Never waste your money on it. Worst gimmick ever. Leaves you on the side of the road. Three tow trucks later scrapped that pile of crap. Using a fuel pump on the rail. With return no more problems.
Cool C6s are usually very strong!
And pretty simple too 👍💪
Transmission make my brain hurt. 🧠🤯
I gotta get this ole ford truck outa my front yard. 😝
♥️👏
Man this is the best simple video on you tube,, this is all want to do with my sniper, forget all that other crap that the sniper features. I just want my sniper to run a little better than a brand new Holley carburetor and use the hand held device to monitor my gauges, simple,, thanks man
👍💪
Same brotha! I just want the injection🤣. I can care less about the o2 crap!. Long as its getting air and dumping fuel. No vapor lock, no cold winter starts. Im happy
I see after watching vid I need to keep the Bell higher/tighter while doing Summersault squats. It will make the exercise more effective. More Burn 🔥
Hello
Now that's where it's at man! Way cool!
Did you have to drop the trans to add the coolant bypass? Great video btw. There’s not many videos on the 3rd gens.
Nope, Watched some dudes vid on Ytube that did it without dropping the trans. Just be sure not to beat excessively on the core plug as the cylinder liner is right behind it. The plug will be pushing against outer cylinder wall when canted inward.
Great tips for porting them.
Very good cadaver work nice to see the mistakes and the successful work thanks for posting...
Missed it by a %#$Hair. LOL
'dont burn the bacon baby...'
Good info and your little girl is precious and blessed me. I miss my daughter being that age and now she is 14yr old. Ahhh lol but anyways, some good advice here and these oil mods are a great improvement for the SBM. Thanks for sharing! We are going to start doing some videos on Mopar only builds with tech advice in our engine shop. We do machine work and build performance and race engines. We will be having a special 408ci build to start it off that will have forced induction. But we want to show the way to correctly build them and there are a lot of mainstream procedures that everyone follows that are hurting performance. Our shop is dedicated to helping the Mopar society !
Awesome 👏
