Eventually you can get teleporters and those boulders aren't infinite yet provide a few thousand ores also with water if you pick it up with a bucket and put it in a hole it'll spread as big as that hole is

Also something to help with lag get rid of that large conver belt system to your base have the items smelt right there as all the items being loaded will cause lag

I've also had issues with performance after the third boss and I'm almost certain of what it is and have mentioned it to devs 1.theres no floor items limit very bad if your using hammer and not picking it up 2.items on floor never despawn 3.there is no mob cap 4.certain mobs attack each other even if your very far away causing all the previous mentioned things to intensify Note what I did to help performance is use the hoe to pick up a ton of floor spawn items such as slime and I stopped using the hammer

Also to mine the ore boulders faster place up to 8 drills around it then it'd be 8 times faster at mining the boulder

Just a heads up the mechanical arm can pick up items and put them into a furnace or chest it's way better then having a huge conver belt system those are useful for afk mob farms

Npcs need a bed door walls and floor (also there object that connects them to said room like the slime jar you have)

Loving the series the only advice I'd give for now is try to experiment with automation and start npc housing (note paint is amazing as it doesn't just change the color but look of certain things like chest)

Btw the shimmering sea is the second biome you should go to as biomes have a set ore and theirs is octorine not scarlet
