Hi! I actually never tried the multiplayer part of the game. According to the info on ProtonDB it can be solved by installing DirectPlay. The easiest way would probably be by using Protontricks. I think the command would be: protontricks-flat 39190 directplay Hope it helps.

Hi! It used to work back in 2019, but I suggest you try one of the latest Proton versions. In fact, I just tried running it on my laptop with Proton 7.0-6, and it seems to work flawlessly.

I haven't tried to run it recently but it used to work perfectly with Proton. Good luck!

Hi. The game install script should handle that for you. I'd suggest deleting the game's prefix folder and trying again. If not, try with a different Proton version.

It is supposed to support all the modules and modes compatible with the original game. As for the Aurora Toolkit, it is Windows only. But maybe it will run with Wine. I haven't tried it personally.

I can confirm that the gyro works, but I recommend against using it because it interferes with the navigation using the right stick/right trackpad. If you really want to use it, you'll probably have the tweak the controller layout.

Hi! Thanks for the comment. It is working, The thing is I didn't notice that for some reason the game set FPS capped to 30. That's why you don't see any difference in FPS. On the other hand, if you take a look at the GPU load, you can see that it's almost halved compared to the native 4K resolution and almost as low as 1080p without FSR.

I haven't tried it on my Steam Deck so I'm not sure how well it works with controllers. I think while the original Skyrim UI was made to be console compatible, SkyUI was meant to be a more traditional CRPG experience.

Hello, I'm sorry, but I don't speak French. I understand that you are unable to run the game with Proton. I used the Proton version 5.13-6 to run it, and I just checked that it still works. But you can also try other versions in case they work for you. If the game still doesn't run, it could some kind of problem with your setup. Be sure to update your operating system and have up-to-date graphics drivers.

Hello. It's not a silly question at all. As far as I know, only Proton GE supports the WINE_FSR_FULLSCREEN environment variable. I'm not sure if using it with regular Proton or vanilla WINE will work. I know FSR works on Steam Deck so there should be a way to make it work with non-GE Proton versions, but I don't know exactly how Valve make it work.

First, you need to use Proton-GE. As far as I know, you can't force FSR in vanilla Proton. Then add "WINE_FULLSCREEN_FSR=1 %command%" to your game's launch options. Lastly, lower the resolution in the settings, and the image will be upscaled.

Thank you for the comment! I've just checked the comment section of the video to refresh my memory, and no, I didn't need to apply any framerate fix. The only problem I had was the audio looping issues that I managed to solve by copying a specific dsound library version. There are aren't many (only 2) reports on ProtonDB with the latest Proton version (6.3). If you are interested, I can install it and check if the audio fix is still necessary.

I've checked it, and it runs at 60 FPS. The sound is okay too. Weirdly the sound is in French by default with Proton, but Proton GE doesn't have this problem, so maybe they will fix it by the time Steam Deck is released.

While I haven´t tried it myself, according to ProtonDB it works pretty much flawlessly on Ubuntu.
