    The best movie I’ve seen ‼️ That is the Great God we serve‼️ The one who forgives us, loves us, and gives us peace if only we ask and surrender to Him. Thank You Lord for loving Us like that. And thank you for sharing this movie ❤️🙏🥰

    Only 13 min and l smell a jesuit catholic propaganda, ouach! double ouach! A chaplain is a catholic jesuit priest in other words a man who's working for a foreign goverment; Vatican city . These man are put there to make sure that every protestant american is subservient to the dictate of the Pope, without knowing it! Billy Graham isn't a protestant. He's a jesuit coagitor a false prophet!

    There'll never make another movie like this one, ever again. It's unfortunate that morals, ethics, honesty, faith are slowly being eroded by greed, lust, lies, and apostasy. In January 2021, America was forced to see its future - and it's not looking good.

    I met Jim Vaus once. He was at a Youth For Christ rally in Hampstead, MD in the late 1970's. He came to my fiance's house to borrow a microphone for the rally. I had no idea who he was, but I remember being afraid of him.. Decades later, I came across Jim Vaus while reading Billy Graham's autobiography. My jaw dropped and I said "that's him!". He'd made quite an impression on me and I never forgot him.

    It was interesting reading all the comments. I am adding mine just to say that this is a true story. Jim Vaus was my father and his life was changed forever. I tell the full story in my book, "My Father Was a Gangster", available on Amazon, www.amazon.com/My-Father-Was-Gangster-Believe/dp/0978742826/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1519402273&sr=8-1&keywords=my+father+was+a+gangster

    BLEAH, actually a commercial for right-wing bible thumper Billy Graham, who plays himself. Wonderful for you if you like that sort of thing. If you don't, be warned it starts out like a pretty good film noir and you'll find the ending dopey, unintentionally ludicrous, or both.

    Good to see that a fellow Jim made the right decision to mend his wicked ways. I wonder if any film reviewer at the time denounced this movie as just religious propaganda. Even if it was meant to be a big promotional piece for Billy Graham, a little moralizing in a film doesn't hurt. In his later years though, I thought of Billy as more of a religious brainwasher.

    Now, THAT was a twist! I'd like to see a movie like that made today! You do realize that our hero either got shot dead or put in the pokey and his wife has to get on food stamps to feed the kids. Although I do believe in the message of Billy Grahm, I don't believe in happy endings.

    Interesting. At 112:40 the great American preacher Billy Graham makes a cameo appearance to effect the conversion event. Ah, 1955 -- a simpler time.

    • @cornelieusfields2062

    • @walterm.robertsiiiphd2157
      @walterm.robertsiiiphd2157 8 лет назад

      Simpler time -- just about for everyone. What I mean by that is that the subsequent decades of American culture were characterized by a complicating of all relationships: sexual, domestic, racial, economic.. By simpler I did not mean BETTER -- just "more clear cut". It was said with some irony, even condescension.
