I on a mission to save and buy car cash, around R150k ill have next year June or so. Then i want to start saving hard for a house or to build one for myself. I have noticed how kak it is paying for these cars and it hurts, credit is a scam. I need a car but i am still fine without it. I am playing the time game and discipline is key. Ill rather have money in the bank than paying a car for 6yrs and it keeps loosing value.

Man big ups to you. Mine got repossessed last year 2023 September. I had been holding on to it with the skin of my teeth. And it was merely a week after getting a somewhat proper job, and I was about to start fixing my arears and getting on par with my payments. It was just too late. I was sick for that whole month after. I just couldnt adapt well with taxis. I was always scared of their reckless driving....but here we are over a year later😂😂. Yoh my guy losing that car gave me a piece of mind😂 I even managed to pay lobola and engage the love of my life😂. But with all that said....I love cars.... I miss driving and the freedom it gave me. So Im going to buy it again. No debt this time though just an old reliable, and oh....I can turn the wrenches as well so it should nt be that much of a problem. And thinking about it maybe I should start a youtube channel while at it😂🤔

How do you sell a financed car?

I take home 25k, no kid, only rent that includes everything (5500), food, and uber to work 2x a week which is 400 per week. And I don't have a car! Friends & family always ask me why & my reason is that, i don't need it! People buy cars for vibes! I prefer to stash money and live in peace!! All I do is save & encourage people to do that!! Most of you don't need a car!!! Please save money guys... Don't buy it if you don't need it...

I had a similar experience with webuycars, after the evaluation the guy game me an offer than was lower than the website evaluation calculator! I still own the car and desperately want to sell it, financially it’s not worth it anymore😢

Sometimes take notes, that you can quantify for a car it doesn’t mean that you can afford the vehicle, you knew your salary but agreed to purchase the car hence a high risk then say insurance is a scam and people should stop going for dodgy dealers because of no credit check or easy finance. Next time brother no offence visit a financial advisor before making a higher purchase.
